That is an excellent letter. I feel really bad for Evan in all this. It must suck so hard to want NOTHING more than to protect your friends and keep them safe, yet know that there's very little you can do and people are actually afraid you might hurt them, willingly or not. Poor baby.

I agree that is what is supposed to be implied, but it could be taken either way, consider the way it was written. The way they write things is tricky tricky sometimes.

His friends think he's crazy, so why wouldn't he think they are for even considering it? It's a vicious cycle....

Just an interesting addition, I was looking at the wiki and found something new on the "The Rake" page in the notes section.

"Wikia contributor IzarTalon discovered in Alex's video Does anybody elses dog do this? two distinct audio tracks can be heard whispering (Left and Right audio channels) something like "help brother" and "I can't breath." In the video Cops Checked, No Body the same audio can be heard during The Rake's brief appearance. "

As far as "Does anyone Else's Dog Do This" goes I can DEFINITELY hear the "Help brother" in the left track. I'm having a lot more trouble identifying what the voice in the right audio is saying, but there is some sort of voice going on there that is NOT Alex and is definitely way more than ambient noise. 28 seconds is where I hear "help brother" most clearly, but it's repeated constantly.

The same crazy ass whispering starts exactly when we see the Rake at 7:17 in "Cops Checked; No Body" and stops as soon as it's off screen 3 seconds later. If anyone good with audio that knows how to rip vids off youtube wants to edit the audio for clarity so we can really get a handle on WHAT is being whispered, that would be super.

Check around 8:10-8:19. The other crazy noises drown it out, but it appears to be in there somewhere.

I remember we put a good bit of effort into that sound clip back when the video was released. I'm pretty sure "help brother" was the consensus for one of the channels, but I don't think we ever got anything close to agreement on the other. This is actually one of the production-related questions I'm hoping will be answered in a big post-endgame press conference.

(Another is whether the lights in the hidden video with Evan and Steph in the hospital were supposed to be Morse code and, if so, what the message was supposed to be.)

I was snarking a bit, but more because I assumed someone on the wiki was just throwing that out there without any backup, not because you didn't link it. Thanks for going to the trouble of putting that all together.

That's actually cool, I remember trying to figure out what the noise was in that video and just sort of giving up, haha.

But either works, I guess. Along those lines, I really wish someone with the ability to go check out the audio from all the Rake appearances. They seem to use the same "track" that has some sort of voice(s) in it.


Regarding qaqa's email, we've had Evan get all huffy with us before...not to this is extent though. From his pov, I guess it's understandable rage. It's just a shame that we don't really have a good way to contact Vince and Jeff individually. I wonder how cathartic is was for the guys to send that email.

Oh. It was definitely a "We're not stupid, UF, we know what you say to eacthother despite whatever you might say to us" thing.

So in a way, this is certainly an email for us to act on/(Which we already have).

There isn't a nice way to go about it, I guess.

We know:

-Evan is a little weird sometimes(and we love him for it)
-Evan has been mobile and animated(and talkitive) without him knowing/remembering it
-Crazy Evan isn't a fan of Evan

We're pretty sure:

-Evan is probably inHABITed


All in all, we have to figure out a way to relay to them IG that this issue isn't going to drop and that they're just going to have to trust us on what we've seen(ala the existence of the hidden videos)
