OP: hurry up and upload episode 7 so we can all dislike it too.
EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/user/FallHardproductions
Seriously, give up the stupid series now.

Honestly, this is worse than what Alex was shooting for Marble Hornets.

Right, I'm not going to poke fun at you over this now; there's already been plenty of that. And after seeing this...
YouTube: Link
...I understand why you posted here (though it was still a little misjudged)
I'm going to give you some serious, friendly advice though:
Pretty much anyone can make movies now, and many do! Cameras are cheap enough for most people to afford, and places like youtube let them instantly publish their work for the world to see.
There are probably more indy movies doing the rounds now than ever before, so if you want to be successful, you need to produce quality and stand out from the crowd.
For example, you mention on your site that you've cancelled Drowning Creek 2 because there's already something too similar. There are lots of things similar. The whole concept of people being stalked by a masked maniac has been done plenty of times in various settings. So, you need to try and find something that hasn't been done so much before, otherwise folks will just see it and say; "They're ripping off *******".
It's okay using some existing conventions, but do something different with them.
...And make sure your trailer reflects this! You could make a film that looks a bit like Friday the 13th at first glance, but is actually nothing like it. If your trailer looks like Friday the 13th, you've just wasted all your hard work.
Also, avoid making things predictable. All the "shock" moments near the end of the Drowning Creek 2 trailer... I saw them coming a mile away because they followed well-established horror movie patterns. Get other people to watch these scenes and see if they're surprised. If not, go back and shoot it in a different way.
As for quality: Big thing here is check how scenes will be viewed. Take the shot of the door opening by itself in one of your posts. A few people mentioned they thought the dog opened the door, and that's just what it looked like. It totally destroyed the point of that scene, and you should really have re-shot it.
You have to be a perfectionist; If something goes even a little wrong, re-do it!
...Oh, and check your spelling! There were several typos in the "Event In Springfield" videos (E.G: "Labelled" has 2 'L's in the middle), and there are more on your Fall Hard Productions page. That shit won't fly if you want to be taken seriously.
Anyway, thought it would be better to give you some constructive criticism rather than just being a dick taking the piss.

^ Thumbs up for 8bitFilk for actually trying to help and writing something useful rather than being an asshole. Yes, the series is pretty bad, but I think that people who actually make stuff deserve at least a little bit of respect, even if their work ends up being... uhm... ed-woody.

I now understand where the OP is going with this, but... This was still the wrong place for it. If you were trying to advertise something as an ARG, that's fine... but you'd want to put it in a more general forum, rather than a very specific one. Especially one that has seen more than its fair share of gamejacks and gets rather violent when they think another one is coming.
P.S.: "Labelled" is a valid spelling.

Totally! Judging from the Youtube page, these guys are pretty passionate about what they do, so it's pretty cruel to just outright attack it.

I stand corrected.

Alright let me clear all this up! haha im surprised this even got any attention. I realize the series is horrible..believe me thats all extra footage from about three years ago before anything got serious with our studio. Thanks for the constructive criticism 8bitfilk and thanks for being dicks too. Its true what all you guys were saying about it. Truth is i just wanted to see if the story concept would catch on at all and googled marble hornets to post it up somewhere cause i though it could get attention. I dont know what ARG means? if this has disrupted anything that has to do with whatever that is im sorry. Pretty funny though watching all of your responses to this. I do have to say though that all those videos on Fallhardproductions are old as crap. - FallhardProductions. I tried, I failed. what can you say haha.

I give you kudos for trying and working on a series. But as 8bit said maybe test it on your friends first as people tend to be dickish and unhelpful on the interwebs. ARG = Alternate Reality Game, which is an interactive story set in "real life". My only other advice is read the rules of the forum your posting on as starting a game or posting in character is not allowed here.

I think you would have gotten a slightly nicer reception if you had posted this in the general Slender Man board instead of the Marble Hornets board. It's not a great series, but there I've seen much worse getting posted over there so they probably would've been kinder.
From the looks of the trailer, though, it seems like your series doesn't even have Slender Man in it. So maybe not.
Serious advice: yeah, you should probably just give this one up. I've seen worse, but it's still not particularly good. You definitely need more practice as a filmmaker before I can really take any of these videos seriously. Plus, it's really cringe-worthy when a series is just a bunch of young white guys -- makes it obvious that you're just tapping your buddies to play roles. This is a common problem with Slender Man series and it can be overcome with a good enough production, but it certainly doesn't help.

hahahaha i know. but notice "extra footage from three years ago". This is basically the crap out of the crap we didn't use back then. I actually never filmed anything recently for this series. And i'm off to work on an actual movie and gonna leave this overdone genre to rest.

oh, and this also had nothing to do with slenderman. My friend told me about some guy they would see just standing in a field beside their house. they called him "the field man". a few years back i always wanted to make a movie or something about that story. Never knew slenderman was quite the same? weird.

Its not that its over done, there are some great advantages to the first person filming. Its just the topic thats overdone.

Oh right, so it really IS (kinda) based on "true events"?! I thought you'd just put that in the trailer for effect!

Excuse us for assuming slenderman was in it, although you have posted a similar premise ("found" tapes, college age stalkees) and you posted in a slenderman man oriented section the forums.
