I really don't think that framing matches the pic they took last night but I may be wrong because the flashing couldve revealed more than we saw.

I don't want to think that they retook and staged it like this so they could fit Masky in the shot.

Looks like they are going with irregular, substantial releases rather than regular small ones. I approve.

As far as this one goes... I really like it. They seem to have access to an abandoned building for this one, which is way cool (hope they got OOG permission...). And it actually gives an IG reason why they'd go at night - if they are trespassing they obviously don't want to go during the day and get busted.

Plus having ENTIRE ROOMS PAINTED WITH SLENDERCRAP is seriously awesome. I particularly liked the TV, nice touch.

As for the "new Masky" - is it a new guy? How do we know it isn't one guy with different masks depending on what mood he's in?

Yup, the photo was definitely re-staged. This was only a few seconds before the picture was taken, and the camera offers a clearer view of that corner. Nothing there, unless Masky slipped in at the last second.

This was a well done video. The slender man on the wall gave me a jump and was very creative, along with the eye-like thing painted on the television. The acting was believable and I was on the edge of my seat for a while.

I actually haven't watched this yet, I'm looking forward to it. I still roll my eyes whenever they say Kinder Von Rammstein's name aloud, but so far the rest of the execution has been quite solid since the big turnaround a while ago.

That Slender-on-the-wall painting is tremendous. I'd love to see a well-lit/daytime picture of it.

As I've said before, MDJ just reminded me of a slow night at the Gathering of the Juggalos. I was not remotely frightened of that thing.

ETA that this, OTOH, remains scary and well done. The fight scene between the guys, the argument is one of the most convincing I've seen in a Slendyvlog. The rapport of the guys really works and the new addition of the guy whose name I shamefully cannot recall is a great substitute for Poor Dead Greg who was at that time IMO the best actor - though they have all gotten pretty good, I think, and the new guy's attitude is a trip.

I still think Kinder Von Schnapps is goofy, but the appearance here was quite scary. I can forgive the obviously restaged photo because it also sent chills down my spine.

They've taken a lot of risks - their mythology is dense, a bit over the top, and has been spelled out early on - but so far those risks have paid off, like with the epic Log 14 which is probably one of the top 3 or 5 Slendyvlog video pieces I have ever seen. Really, without those risks they would've just been an okay vlog repeating the old tropes (pills, memory loss, minion, etc), but it's the execution and the innovation that makes DH shine. I really like the series, and without having seen TJ & Amy Projects this remains solidly tied with MLAndersen for my fourth place slot behind the big 3.
