I think it's most likely that TTA was (and still is) keeping really strict tabs on Jay. We haven't seen much evidence of TTA stalking Alex, but he's dropped lots of hints that he's always watching Jay - "See you saw you" and all that. So it makes sense that he would have been in that forest watching the Slender-encounter, since we knew he was already there taping Jay the night before.

But I'm stuck on how TTA always knows how to find Jay. Best guesses?
1) Warping. We know that Tim can warp, so I think it's plausible that he and/or TTA can use this ability to warp straight to Jay, no matter where he is. But where could he find a door nearby in that park (if indeed a door is necessary)?
2) A little more lame but not out of the realm of possibility: a bug somewhere, possibly in Jay's car. TTA is pretty tech savvy, I'm sure he could pull that off.

I still don't believe that Alex is working with TTA though. He seemed too happy to be away from this whole mess in #26, and Fragments shows hostility from TTA towards Alex.


Or maybe he kicks it old skool and literally just follows Jay everywhere.

I'm not sure if the style is completely different, as one is charcoal and the other is ordinary pen. Two different mediums can make work by one artist look like work by two. Especially when its charcoal compared to pen.


Alex's original scribble-art is solid while TTA's new scribble-art is hollow. I do a lot of this kind of thing myself, so I'm pretty sure if it were the same artist the lines on TTA's work would be thicker or Alex's work would have a lot more white in it (which he is capable of doing, judging by the upper picture of Alex's having a tie).

 		Something just popped into my head...

The famous line "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" from the Wizard of Oz is referring to the actual Wizard who is hidden from sight controlling the monstrous visage of the Wizard that Dorothy and co. encounter.

What if similarly, totheark is the one actually in control of the Operator? I'm not sure about anyone else, but I've always been under the assumption that The Operator is the big bad guy and masky and totheark are working for him.

Ok I downloaded the frames and checked the out.
Found something either freakishly coincidental, or a very hard to see message.
In the frames 0820 through 0833, if you look through them at the right speed, it looks like someone grasping thier face and, well, tearing at it. Their head is also moving around alot kinda, slend-ishly, but hes not tall enough to be him.

If you need me to .gif it or point it out in ms paint, I could do that.

Edit: clearest frame of looking like a person: 0823

Thank you! That is exactly what I needed! I may be stretching far here, but this caught my eye. Masky mask? Maybe? It could be the cold meds (no pun intended).

Although I like your analogy, he is LITERALLY CALLED "THE OPERATOR".

e: oops caps aren't meant to be antagonistic. But I like them so they stay.

 		About time. I've been waiting for this for a week.

Just about the only thing I can think of is the highly unlikely theory that Jay has a split personality, which would account for the constant references to seeing and being seen, but that doesn't fit in at all with what we know of TTA.

Another thing that occurs to me is the corrupted description - I'd be willing to bet that the first word was originally 'you'.

One last thought - doesn't that drawing look quite a lot like the place where Jay sat down to call Alex? I'm wondering what we'd see if we watched that scene over again, frame by frame.

 		Its kinda hard to see in this picture... but theres a human shape in the middle of the screen, then the camera moves right placing the shape on the left side then the camera moves back to the middle placing the shape in the middle again.

It looks like someone violently groping / flailing at their face.
