It's not against the TOS per se. But Mimzy, if you could please lower the res on that so that the page isn't so stretched?

Sorry, my screen resolution showed it at a manageable size, didn't consider it further than that. I'd rather not resize it though, so I just killed the img tags, that work better?

Quite well, thank you.

Thinking the phone is more of a coincidence. The guys didn't seem to think it was weird, and I've lost my phone in strange places at friends' houses.

I'd say it was intentional. Conservation of Detail. It wouldn't be mentioned if not important. While it could in theory be a red herring, it probably isn't, ironically for the same reason it could be a coincidence: It hasn't been revisited or hinted at again in any way. Were it a proper red herring it would at least attempt to lead us down one line of thought/inquiry and then reveal us wrong, but as it has done literally nothing that can be ruled out. All the same, I feel it's too big a detail to just be brought up and had such attention drawn to it and then lead to nothing.

Perhaps we'll later on see some kind of payoff? Perhaps that's just some light random foreshadowing to something else, like finding the Rake at Vinnie's home next...

Yeah. Grieck nailed it with Conservation of Detail stuff.

It's certainly significant, but it's probably not actionable by us

Well, that's sort of one of the problems here, isn't it? We don't know what's "actionable" by us and what isn't. We keep poking at different topics and not getting any results. Maybe we've been focusing on the wrong things? Accurate findings usually lead to the group investigating and videos, doesn't it? And lately seems like people have been doing more "relationship/emotional damage control" than anything else... but hey, we're low on leads, so you work with what you've got.

Given it was a partial focus of two of the previous videos... maybe we were supposed to be figuring something out about the little mystery trinket/box/thing? I only remembering one or two people really touching on it at all since One Step Forward Two Steps Back....

I really don't know. Any other angles or objects we haven't attacked hard enough?

I think one of the main problems with finding out what is "actionable" is that we often aren't going to be able to find out how much our assistance has done if anything (or everything) until a video comes out and we see the event it adheres to. A lot of the things we're doing are not things we'll see the end of any time soon. I think the best we can hope for is keeping up communication, and keeping up GOOD communication.
This is a pretty bad situation with Evan here. I say pure damage control for the immediate now. Nothing is more important than everyone sticking together and trusting each other. Whether the guys with each other, or the guys with us.

New post on canyouseethewords.com. It seems that Steph still isn't in control of her account.

yes, but it's been specifically linked to evan. and whether the use of this song means evan's posting or that whoever's posting wants us to think of evan, it's almost certainly deliberate.
