found this in the editing room. Looks like the little box connects to the bigger box. Maybe thats what he needs to charge it? if it needs to be charged at all.

Hope Josh remembered what it said about changing the battery on the back of the pic of the Area 51 boys. Also - the wire is frayed where it's attached. Maybe it needs to be rewired or at least needs a little electrical tape. Josh doesn't need to go and get zapped just as he gets it humming at the right frequency.

That number might be the combination needed to tune it or something, not a phone number.
I don't want to take away from what the letters/numbers may be intended for in the ARG however the letters/numbers look like ones that are etched into tools/equipment on military installations. They are a way to issue a specific item to an individual for tracking and accountability purposes. Sort of like a serial number. At the end of a work shift all tools are inventoried and accounted for. If one item is missing they can look up the serial number and see who signed it out. If they cannot locate the item (or person) then everything goes into lockdown in order to search for the missing item. Reason being is that an item lost could cause damage to very expensive things if left in the wrong place. It is also used to prevent theft as some items are worth a lot of money. The Government doesn't purchase cheap tools. Now once these items are broken or no longer required they are removed from the inventory and sometimes sold at auctions via the Defense Re-utilization and Marketing Office. Almost every base has one. I have pictures of a few of these tools I can post later. Not saying that's what the etching is, just saying that's what it looks like to me.
I hope that made sense?

Of course, it makes sense. My brother was a flight mechanic. He was a tool nazi, and explained basically what that meant. The possibilities are all there, I just didn't want every series of numbers to be looked at as a phone number. There has been only one working phone number in this ARG, and it was obviously listed as one. Nothing has ever been as extreme like the ideas of Jane Smith and Co. (no offense). This ARG is logical, and slow.

I agree with you both as Catalog Numbers nothing more. I refuse at this point, to even consider a chain of numbers.uhh anywhere..ever..
I am sorry, I know my ideas may have been a bit nutto at times.
If we left this game as plain and face value as it was do you really think many of us would have stayed as long as we have?
Again, I have been more fascinated by the links my fellow gamers have come across then the rest of the "ride".
In any case I will miss all of the banter and craziness that was passed between us.
LETS END THIS BITCH WITH FIREWORKSSSSS YEAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Upon further examination of the box, I noticed that the dial goes from off to the symbol phi, which is used to represent the golden ratio. Also, you can see that the buttons are marked A, B, C, and the three dots. Just thought I'd point this out

in physics terms i believe phi can also represent magnetic flux, which sounds more in line with researching the cubes properties.

digits on handle My brother is also aircraft mechanic. And he can be a true Nazi with his tools. Heaven forbid one got misplaced. But the numbers on the handle look like a phone number, a locker number, a coordinate of some sort. Given it's seven digits makes me think phone. But the numbers that come up have a jacksonville exchange and that's not correct. They don't look like tool ID numbers. They are usually etched into the metal or plated on. I believe that there is more to the numbers on the handle.

I have tried figuring out what the numbers/letters are and entering them into the device prompt in STIES along with vrelic or vitas relic, but to no luck. Has anyone else tried this method who has a clear shot at the numbers?
Seems too good to be true but i think its worth a shot!

LIDA Machine Other wise know as LIDA device I am going to post this now, a bit early... as I may not be around much these next few weeks and I wanted to leave this with you to ponder on.
I have been thinking lately on Dr. Cupe, the whole russian thing RF/ VLF signals and this device.
You all know my penchant for Tesla devices and my facination with HAARP, and foil hats
There was a device that was patented in the US called the LIDA machine. The soviets tested electro magnetic effects on the mind.
It was a Soviet device that utilized low-frequency radio waves to:
Sooth the mind
Create harmony in biological effects..eg: performance etc.
Control the mind.
Carried information, projected pictures
Woodpecker effect.
Mind control utilizing the basic resonance of PHI.
I leave this here with a open question, is it related to our device?
Is Leyda Cupe a play on words? Does "control" have more to do with this whole concept.
Thanks for your time
P.s Maybe i'll see one of you in the theater =)
Jane

Shine, I think that they need to apply some kind of energy to the cube to trigger its properties. That's my theory, at least. The scientist might me doing just that.
