 		Coming back to the original topic, I don't think the slenderman has some kind of water vulnerability or anything. It was strongly implied that slenderman is either the spirit of a man who died of dehydration, or is somehow associated with with such people. So it makes sense that masky drinks an unseemly amount of water every day. It's a token of slender's influence, not some sort of stratagem to ward slenderman off.
