doesn't work so what else is left to go with these?

Well, we still need the .gif embedded in danapicnic.jpg. But I think that one is going to relate to the chicken/calendar puzzle.

Wasn't that the eyechart used for the mythical creatures puzzle?

Actually, someone said earlier that it was an eyechart and it related to a puzzle that they solved, but they never posted it.

Ah.. I knew about the eye chart but didn't know they provided us with one.

He took the na_cat pixel changes and decoded them in Braille.

This removes the "all cats look black" clue, as well as the na_cat pixels.

Just for credit's sake... Here's Xevo's post that gave me the "no" idea.

I'll admit I just pulled this from chat, but I did recognize it as being correct =D

Leftbrained noticed that na-cat wasn't the same as last weeks, but it still had different pictures incorporated into the animated gif...so thats is why it didn't look corrupted.

It turns out there are different colored pixels on the butterfly. I made a bmp of the differences - you just have to blow it up to about 800% to see it clearly. In the bmp, the #s are the frame numbers and the all black butterflies are what they were supposed to look like.

Okay, I can't upload bmps, so its now a gif. The color information looks like its still there, but if anyone wants the original file I made, let me know

na-cat and CUTEBEE2:

The pixels that are colored show Braille letters (they are all 2x3 patterns).

Comparing them to a Braille alphabet -- and REVERSING them when the butterfly goes in the other direction (thanks strifey?), should give you

OLDWASHINGTON...but the problem is that a couple of letters seem to be missing from that. I got OLDWAS and people guessed the end of it, which makes sense from divorced_bureaucrat.

The "SOUNDS LIKE" and preposition list, and the chicken-with-calendar and 1/25 puzzle.

It's the whole puzzle. At least the bold lines are. It might be part of another puzzle as well considering the answers are kind of out of place.

http://www.ilovebees.com/outbound/have_some_laughs.wav

I don't know if it's been found yet, I'm still making my way through the beginning of this thread, but it's not on fireflies wiki yet, so here. Trout me if it's been found.

Nevermind. I hereby Trout myself. Sorry.
