Yeah it's kind of weird i mean there are a lot of grammatical errors such as the Authors name
We should tweet this to Super8Movie, if it really is official, they might RT us. If not, they'll want it off amazon asap

Hey folks ..my NONO foil senses are tingling here..
I would maybe wait for a response from RP or somewhere about it before purchase.
all notes about it are recent..

Seeing that I can find no other mention of this comic anywhere, I sent an email to WonderWorld http://wonderworldcomics.com/indexB.html in Michigan for more information. I'll update with any news.
The "enter the Super 8 comic book contest and win cool prizes" from the Amazon description is curious. What contest, and what does one need to do?
Also, what Kraten reported the store saying, this is a real item...it seems to be a very rare item. No one else is mentioning this anywhere. I keep thinking it to be a theater promotion. I'm very interested in finding out where this comic came from.

The person i spoke to said on the back it has a Coupon type thing to enter and win - I also feel this is a Promotional Item and not a "Real Comic" 8 pages I keep going back to - That is a Short Comic
Any one have a graphic tool that could blow up and render the text on the one page shot on amazon? nothing I have is doing anything with it ???

I called too - the guy I spoke to said that it's connected to the stuff released online. So I'm guessing it is ARG related. It better be. Oh well, I'm a sucker - so I bought one. I used some AmExpress points - so it didn't feel like I spent too much (trying to convince myself ).
Expecting to find something useful inside - like Josh Minker's phone #.
Kraten - I couldn't get a clear look at the page on Amazon either.

Mine will take around 7 - 9 days to come, so you'll most likely get it first, it says it's already shipped which is odd
I'll make sure to scan mine as soon as i get it

Wonderworld Comics phone chat just confirm what was said about Kraten, talked with guy at Michigan Wonderworld Comics who apparently can share verbally what is in the comic but not take any photos! the back page is Super 8 standard movie poster. On the inside of this is an ad for Rocket Poppeteer, "coming soon" to 7-
Eleven stores. You can go to their website to locate nearest to you.
Distribution is from Michigan warehouse. They have been mailing "all day." Anyone in Detriot/Taylor/Ann Arbor could see if they went to store. Closes at 9 p.m. 22391 Ecorse Road, Taylor, MI 48180
Gave the suggestions that there were a lot of "things" buried within the comic.
Is this the third comic that we need?

Well I am glad you're gonna get something related.. but it kinda feels cheap, that they would want US to BUY more SHIT and at 19 bucks?when they SHOULD'NT require it.
ehh... shanaighans

Got my grubby fingers on a copy of the (what should have been free )promo. At first glance, just a flip thru, there is nothing to advance either the movie story line or the ARG. There is another maze ala the original ad, in the ad that says Rocket Poppeters are coming to (selected) 7-11's. Yum

I realized i would be 30 min away from the Taylor shop so made a side trip.
I need to point out this is a free promo, but once it gets to the dealers, it's all supply and demand. Some promos go up in value, others do not. Again supply and demand. Now that i have one, I can raffle off the two I had previously ordered from Amazon to people here that don't otherwise have one.
When I got to the shop I asked the HHIC (who was a nice guy) how he had the promo and others did not. He just smiled and said "Oh I just snagged on to them." and went on to say he had been a high school chum of artist Tommy Lee Edwards. I found out that thread starter RJBowman is indeed affiliated with that comic shop.
Wonder if we'll see Popeye again?

Remember. On the Depot page where the comic book is it does say that there is a 3 part limited series coming soon..
Maybe this is part of that?
kinda funny that it isnt available there... yet and it would show up at such an isolated spot..
