No. No? No! Tim already had the Jacket prior to being Masky and I don't think the Slender Man went to the craft store to buy a $5 plastic mask to give to Tim. That's absolutely absurd.

 		Come on now guys. Isn't it obvious?

Hoody's been stalking Jay since the beginning. He's the one that took all the pills in that bottle Jay brought back to his house after Entry #16, and is the reason why the pills were gone in Entry #19.5- he took them all, ripped off the label so he could remember what the were called, and got addicted.

He went to Masky to get some from him, since he sees him as an idol- he stylized his hoodie the best way possible after him- even though only the color matched. He also got his own mask.
But Masky said no- he didn't even know this Hooded freak.

Getting even more depressed, Hoody went on to change his mask into a black emo one with a red-stitched frown to show how unhappy he was.

Then he started stalking Jay even harder, and secretly revealed himself to Jay one night. Jay was so overcome with emotions, he tried to beat Hoody up, but failed and ended up getting hurt instead.
Hoody called an ambulance on Jay's phone, and Jay got taken to the hospital where he was watched.

Relocated from the hospital into a hotel, Jay was given Ibuprofen to help him recover. Hoody decided to stick around, only for the medicine though.

Jay recovered quickly. He got to know Hoody for a little bit, and found out that he was somewhat trying to help him the whole time. He was only able to get answers from Hoody off camera, though- the reason why we haven't seen him in any of the previous Entries that happened during the seven months missing from Jay's memory.

Hoody went to go get prepared one morning as they were going to be leaving the hotel the next day. He found out Masky was there, and booked it out of shame and jealousy of his cool hair and looks. Also because he saw that Masky was limping and thought it would be better to haul ass before finding out why.

Jay, not being able to cope with anything that had happened, was forced to repress the memories of it all.

And then he started point blank with a clean slate of memory from Entry #27.

I don't know if they're referencing an actual blog post, but in the commentary on the DVD they talk about how they got Seth on the show. He was actually tagging along last minute with the girl from Entry #9. They don't outright say that he's a minor one-shot character (especially since he shows up again behind the camera in a later entry), but they do say he wasn't actually in the script at that time.

But hey, Seth plays a bigger role than whatsherface that got him into the show in the first place.

did he just shuffle into a bloomingdales

what was it like for the person ringing him up
