Honestly, with the new MH entry going up tonight too, I really wasn't thrilled by two videos mostly comprised of walking through woods where nothing substantial happens until the end.

Thoughts, in order.

#1. Silent Hill reference. Nice.

#2. Around 1:47 - bird! Moon behind a tree? Painted van window? Huh?

#3. Labyrinth reference. Nice. (Those who don't know: movie about a baby stolen by monsters, and David Bowie's omnipresent crotch.)

#4. Don't provoke statue dude!

#5. Let the cameo-induced rumoring commence!

I would say even though neither Slendy nor any other protagonists showed up, this was one for the fans. The 20 dollars thing shows up again, but what was even more pleasantly surprising was the "nice guy" that came along to help them. I fan-gasm'd.

I really like how expansive TJA is, their extensive documented traveling, their inclusion of characters such as Dhalia, and the level of detail and realism they put into it makes it a really great series.

I still can't get over the little cameo appearance. That was just fucking amazing.

I've got nothing to add except that I loved it. Even though nothing really happened. They're just building tension.

I think the cameo is just a cameo but who knows. I would be fine with a crossover.

Personally I think that it was a cinematic way for them to say "Hey, the characters don't know each other" IG. If the OOG blogs with the pictures or whatever the hell else were even remotely IG they would have acknowledge each other as having previously met each other. Evan says clearly "Don't I know you from somewhere?" and the answer is in the negative. That is OOG Evan talking to IG TJ and Amy.

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but EMH is supposed to be ending, introducing new characters now, especially additional villains would make the whole thing a bigger mess than it already is.

Most excellent cameo, very well done. I seriously expected those statues to be one of those street performers and for them to jump to life when they put the camera close. Fucking statues.

VICTORY! Who guessed it would be one of the EMH Boys that helped them? WHEEEEEEEE!

And I'm guessing that yes Fred/Birdman/Doctor was swooping in on their car and now we know he can fly. Holy shit. It keeps getting crazier and crazier!

Maybe working them into EMH isn't all that bad, maybe if things keep going how they are going with the boys, we will have their tragic end and that just adds to the trauma of our girls? Just throwing it out there, but introducing the girls to these big strong men (heehee) and having them relate to them and find comraudery (How so you spell that word, I don't even...) only to have them die would be very dramatic. I'm kinda still on the ''Things don't end well'' side of things.

Huh... So far, it's just cameo. But it would be interesting if they did work together a bit.
Not necessarily merge their stories or become connected, but if they made it into a, "THESE PEOPLE ARE HAVING SIMILAR EXPERIENCES, MAYBE WE SHOULD CALL THEM UP?" later on? I don't know how to put it well, hfff.
I don't mind how they go with this, as both are awesome, and whatever they do will probably be awesome. But Evan's cameo did make me go SGDFHSDFH. c:
I also think it's implied he's IG too... Otherwise it would not make sense, as others have said, to say that about Joisey. xD

Personally I think that it would make sense either way for Evan to say that Jersey was odd and fucked up. It's the home to the most dangerous city in the United States (as of 2009) and also, Evan is still friends with Jeff OOG, and Jeff still collects literature about NJ's bizarreness OOG.

mokie mentioned this already, but i just want to highlight this bit:

the inclusion of music from (and references to) labyrinth is rather inspired. after all, it IS about an infant stolen by a supernatural creature (in this case, the king of goblins) and his (temporary) caregiver's attempt to get him back before it's too late.

i'm gonna do a bit of flailing here and speculate that it may be more foreshadowing.
