Err, this might show my ignorance, but what's this gum thing we're talking about again?

Underneath the morse code on one of the pictures on page 3 (I think) there's a Wrigley's logo, which leads people to believe that this game is sponsored by/involves gum.

It's fairly clear in style and theme that this is for the gum.

In various DC comics released yesterday there is a 5 gum ad that has morse code in the bottom corner that leads to that page. Also we have a sighting of a page dedicated to a QR code in the Seattle Weekly. Also, the phrase Test Subjects Needed has supposedly shown up in the most recent 5 gum TV ad.

Second time in same thread double post cause I was trying to edit and hit quote. Why do I keep doing that? =p

Well, to make this useful, Gotham City Sirens, Detective Comics, Flashpoint, and Arkham Asylum are comics I know had the ad from yesterday, and the only reason it doesn't show 5 gum in the picture I took is because I didn't take a picture of the full page. Also, it was placed in various places in the books, so the page number is not significant.

Terms & Privacy on testsubjectsneeded.com

Also, I went back to the site, www.testsubjectsneeded.com and read over the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Both seem to indicate online gaming, but don't confirm it completely. Smile

Yep. Skimmed that, but to see it's an ARG all you have to do is click on your name once you have logged in. You are given options to opt in to text messages or opt out of email for the game.

Though it could just end up being a participatory experience, not necessarily with a narrative storyline to unfold... Confused

True, but if you look under phone info, they do outright call it a game.

"By giving us your phone number, you are allowing us
to send in-game messages to your phone. Leave blank
to opt out"

Thus: participatory experience (game)
gimme a story to unravel, dagnabbit! =P

LOL, I'm relatively new to the ARG community so I haven't had time to be a purist as to the use of the term, but I don't think that they will be sending us text messages just to tell us it's our turn to draw a card, lol.

Yah, I wasn't sure how much I should actually be describing since it was all in the posts and everything, but... :P
