Interesting, a creepypasta cosmology. There's a lot of material here that I simply don't have the time or desire to go through, but a few of these stand out as really interesting either because of their mere concepts (the Blind Man) or because of their story of origin (that wooden girl). Very interesting stuff at work.
Actually, you know what? The blind man reminds me of Closet Atrium, the description is by no means a perfect match but it's a very similar archetype. Man, talk about a blast from the past. Checked their channel again, no new updates in three months (and even that was an non-update).

I am actually starting to miss Closet Atrium. It was getting kinda good...and just stopped.

Personally, my favourite so far is Ontological.

I haven't read many Fear Mythos blogs, but I highly recommend "brighter than a spoon" and" Eccentrically Bored".

Now that I have a computer of my own, and now that my computer actually has sound, I can really get some writing done. And hopefully, I can turn EAT into a real monster. >w>
Hopefully, I can turn the Wooden Girl into all new levels of fright, as well.

Never thought I'd have to say this, but: Gimme20dollaz, you rock.
This is some great reading. Especially Ontological, which is what I'm archive-binging on right now. Damn good stuff, especially the posts with invisible text that you can only see by (spoiler-tagged in case you want to figure it out on your own)

Thank you, you make me feel so happy inside. (/yay!)
Anyways, I suggest we create either a new subforum (or even a sub-subforum) specifically for the Fear Mythos. I shall add a poll immediately.

Don't get ahead of yourself there.
Creation of "sub forums" are a long process around here. How long did it take to strike off EMH from the Marble Hornets threads? And even then EMH came here, with other SM projects, not to it's own forum. Go and have a look at how many ARGs stay in the "news and Rumors" section for most of their lifetime. Things don't get shunted off into sub forums until/unless they are a fairly proven quantity, either showing longevity or an accumulation of material that requires a separated space.

I think this is a case of the latter, Atom. Seriously, look how many freakin' interconnected blogs and vlogs there are. We've hit the metaphorical jackpot.

Yes........ and this is the first we're hearing about them. This might take off and rival SM for popularity... and it might go the way of the "Core Theory" and implode on itself. By "Accumulation of material" I don't mean that there is a lot of it on the web. I mean that there is a lot of discussion material here. EMH has not been granted a subforum and it has a half dozen threads devoted to it. This has one. And that one consists mainly of "this is cool." Let the discussion grow at it's natural pace. It is premature to ask for a subforum.
Also, keep in mind that this website's stated purpose is ARGs. Not web video series or web stories. Is there an interactive element to these?

The blogs Quiet Cacophony , Jordan Eats Normally Now , and Ontological all have interactive elements (Eats had a countdown to reveal another blog The Topography of Thought which is currently doing ARG thing, both Ontological and Quiet Cacophony had hidden text, and Quiet Cacophony has an ongoing ARG element due to a still un-decoded letter (though we now know who wrote the letter).)

Reading through Ontological and Quiet Cacophony and some others, there is some interactivity through the comments system, ChildofAtom. Especially between other bloggers, but still.
