Just because no one's pointed it out yet, there's a bit more relevance in this most recent video HABIT posted on CYSTW -- unless I'm reaching too far, which could be.

But, anyways, one of the interviewees from Auschwitz said that in the camp, they were not referred to by their names, but only the numbers that were tattooed on their arms.
How does HABIT refer to his Rabbits? Numbers, no names.

Just something to ponder.

Seriously, do you think killing the Rake could be the next step? The guys need something to cheer them up, and judging by Evan's email, make them realize that they're on the same side. It might get a reaction out of HABIT, assuming that he is indeed controlling the Rake. Maybe if they can make some makeshift body armor, get a few guns and some knives (Evan could hook them up.). Evan seems to be relatively calm around the Rake. As long as they can keep Alex out of it, I think they might have a chance.

I dunno. Getting a problem out of the way always makes me happy. I imagine defeating a mysterious malicious creature would have the same effect. Not that being proactive has been much of a help in the past (baseball bat) but being prepared and going in has much more potential for a favorable result.

So does anyone else think that an attack on the Rake might be a viable option for the guys?

EDIT: It might be a good idea to ask Evan how strong the Rake felt or how quickly it moved; he's been wounded by the thing and also helped keep it shut inside Alex's closet. Could be a good way to re-establish trust. Then again, this might just clue HABIT in assuming Evan is, indeed, inHABITed.

It might also be a great way to get them killed. We don't know how dangerous the Rake really is and a full-out assault is completely out of the question unless more intel can be gathered. Going in without that kind of information would just be flat out stupid.

NOPE.

Would it be nice if someone could vanquish that thing? Yes, but I doubt it can be done by human or conventional means and it's an invitation to death at this juncture.

Agreed. Even though the Rake hasn't seemed that supernatural to me so far, it's still very obviously dangerous. I mean, it tore fucking chunks out of Evan's arm, and it's obviously intelligent. Unless the guys are going to stock up on buckshot, trying to kill that thing isn't a good idea. Even then, I doubt it would go over too well.

Besides. They'd have to trap the Rake or something. It's already demonstrated that it's willing to take it's time in "taking care" of Alex. I doubt the guys have the acumen or the patience to figure out the Rake's next attack plan...and then wait it out.

And now, a new addition to the "[HE/SHE/THEY/WHO] MAD" file. No, not me this time.

Over on YouTube, someone has taken umbrage with EMH's update frequency. Jeff's response is as follows:

Quote:
Yes, AWhiskeyNeat. With all this nonsense going on, we're going to bend to the whims of some schmuck on the internet and make a video just for you. Just for you. There's no need for your bullshit to exist, so yes, I erased your useless comment.

Do you have a sibling? A loved one? Imagine that loved one crying for days, weeks, on end, because their best friend (my damn dog) got torn to shreds by some screeching creature in my own backyard.

I have more important matters to attend (see: my grieving baby brother) then your petty media request.

So, yes. I did fucking erase your comment because it was equally as useless as your ongoing complaint here. -Jeff

So, running tally -

EVAN MAD (at me)
JEFF MAD
THEY MAD
GOODNIGHT

It's not a complete set until Vinnie gets pissed off about something.

Quick! Someone insult his beard so the angry circle is complete!

I know it's not easy for Jeff basically raising his younger brother, but after what happened to Sparky it's going to be all south for a while.

I imagine she's already pretty mad about her blog being hijacked.

VINNIE THAT BEARD MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A HOMELESS PERSON

@MsSynclair Not surprising. Animals are really good for therapy and helping with depression and panic attacks and whatnot, so it really wouldn't surprise me if Alex started slipping even faster down the drain after this. I mean, I'm sure he loves Jeff, but Sparky actually gave him something to do. He couldn't afford to mope because he had to care for her: she had to be fed and watered and walked and taken to the vet and played with, all of which he did.

Honestly, I'd be surprised if he's managed to even get out of bed for the past few weeks, the poor kid.

I lied. The beard doesn't really make you look like a homeless person, Vinnie.

(I'm going to bed before I cause some sort of incident.)

Hey Vinnie, a youtube fitness series is a stupid idea. This is all your fault.

Have we gotten any correspondence since Evan yelled at qaqa?

Eh, I've had a worse beard than Vinnie's in the past. mine's bigger But I'm clean-shaven now.

I do worry quite a bit about Alex, Evan, etc. I wish we had a clear indication of how the group was handling each other in the wake of the tumblr follies, but I'm sure that's being withheld for a purpose. I hope our msgs to Evan got through to him.

Qaqa's 1000th post, everybody!

-INSERT APPLAUSE HERE-

Anyways, Finals Week has come and gone. Who knows, maybe we'll get a livestream or something in the near future. We've gotten them before, after major Rake-related events.
