Yeah, English is my first language (didn't take it as an insult at all). My A.D.D. tends to ruin normal thought patterns and make me sound like I'm struggling with basic things, when in reality, I'm just struggling to keep up with my brain. Its just far worse when I'm running on little sleep.

I do the exact same thing, though I think I probably have Aspergers and not ADD. Not very often though. Mostly when I haven't slept well, like you.

And yeah, for the blood, I'm gonna pull an Occam's Razor and say it's likely that it's Alex. Or hey, maybe a character we haven't even met yet. Troy did say that we're only just getting started.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Very Happy

Although I know its impossible, I would have loved for it to be Jessica's blood. Not because I'm morbid, but because I want resolution for her. But there is still time and videos, so maybe we will see what happened to her.

Asperger's = no fun when trying to sound coherent. I always sound like I have half a brain when I try to talk >.<

I'm wondering where that entry fits in with Timasky getting his leg busted up. If it's in the right timeframe, I'd be willing to guess that it's his blood.

Nah, that's been discussed before.

A), we'd have seen something linking those videos together
B), A broken leg doesn't make that much blood

The only real possible evidence for a link is that the rocks look similar, but that could be explained OOG as re-using a prop.

Depends on what kind of break. If it broke the skin, it would definitely have bled. Unfortunately, we didn't see the actual break. Also, the leg has some pretty big blood vessels so if the bone broke the skin, it could have bled a whole lot.

I think that if you hit a leg with a rock hard enough to break it, it's almost guarenteed that the rock will have broken the skin, or at least scraped it very badly. And those of us who get injured a lot know that scrapes can ooze blood for quite some time, giving the impression of a lot of blood.

Hm, I've thought about this too. But Tim was wearing jeans at the time. Couldn't the material have blunted the scraping effects while still allowing the impact to break the bone? Also, the material would have soaked up some blood as well, so I'm not sure it would have bled enough for all the blood that was in noentry.

Ooohhh, I forgot about the jeans. Yeah, that would definitely do it, though it's likely he had a few scrapes anyway - I've managed to scrape up my leg while wearing jeans before. It has to do with the friction involved. But it definitely wouldn't bleed enough to soak through, unless the bone was sticking out.

Something odd....

I just hopped onto Youtube to check on a couple subscriptions I have, and Entry #40 was back on my [Uploaded] Section....

Said it was uploaded 13 minutes ago.

I figured that didn't sound right, but I'm staring at it right now on my other screen, says 17 minutes ago now, but I'm rather confused by this.

I suggest investigating?

Ah! Just for the record, look at the uploaded date rather than the time at the top. The second indicates when they started uploading this newest one Jay was hinting at on twitter. Which, btw, means it's probably uploading!

Mine still says 3 weeks ago, and I re watched the Entry, didn't see a difference. Only thing I noticed is that J was logged in 1 day ago, which he usually doesn't log in between Entry's.

So, I'm brand new to the whole Marble Hornets thing. I must say, I'm hooked! I just got through watching all of the entries over the course of 2 days.

So here's why I'm posting. I noticed something that I don't think anyone else noticed yet, within #40.

At 2:01, there is a white flash on the left hand side of the screen. At first, it looks like just some lens flare, or auto-adjustment of the lens.

Now go play it again and pause, and tell me that you do not see a tiny little mask shape, grinning at you...... O_O;; Then keep watching, very closely in that area as Jay keeps walking (once you've seen that little mask thing) and tell me that you do not see what looks like a figure, moving along through the trees, right before it blacks out, and you hear the noise distortion... AS IF J is walking ALONGSIDE of that figure!! PLEASE tell me I'm hallucinating, and have been watching this way too long! lol.

As a side note, I'm starting to think that the strange masked and faceless entities find Jay (and Alex, and even Jessica) THROUGH the cameras - as if the cameras are portals. (First, the one video where the girl is playing with Alexs' camera made me think this, since he tells her to put it away, and SM shows up immediately after it is turned on - and now THIS video, with SM, as if the "always know where you are" thing comes through having some sort of connection to the camera itself.)

Oh, and here's a link to a screen cap, if someone can't find it. Youtube was being weird with its seconds read-out, like it is sometimes, so last night it said 2:01, and I got the screen capture at 2:02.

There's way too much motion blur for me to make out a mask. It's probably just a trick of vision.

Perhaps, but I find it odd that the tree that the little tiny white flash is next to is the same tree that Jay pans back over to as he's walking along, then suddenly the shot blacks out and there's distortion when it recovers. (Like something tele-ported in, maybe?)

I wouldn't have thought anything of it at all, except for the very very brief white operator symbol on Alex's face during the birthday footage... this whole series has me jumpy, and I'm constantly evaluating everything that the camera pans to or does as a clue - even random little things that happen that ordinarily wouldn't mean anything at all. In fact, at first I thought that the flash I saw on the left (out of the corner of my eye) was going to be the operator symbol, but seeing something that's kind of a mask? Can't be coincidence in a series where masks are all-important. It's just a weird artifact. I found myself wondering if "did you see me? I saw you" was a reference to that tiny mask thing, like someone was watching Jay off to the side as he was walking in that shot and they were blurred out of the shot - maybe it was not just about seeing Slender. I don't know, I just thought the artifact looked more... _solid_ than just plain motion blur should or would be. (I say this because I also have a small amount of experience in manipulating photos, so getting far into the pixels is a common occurrence for me. It just looked manipulated in, or as if something was blurred out.) I get that it's a long shot but it's odd to me anyway. I thought it might be an important thing.

I remember reading a theory a while back that Slenderman prefers rooms with artificial lighting, because they're enclosed and humans are more likely to be there.

In other news, I too almost shit myself when I saw Slendy that close up, oh my god. Did not sleep that night.

That's one of the things I love about Marble Hornets in general. Entries like 7, 17, 26 - they all take place in the full light of day. Most horror entities tend to stick to night time, but not our Slendy. Daylight isn't safe anymore.
