[PUZZLE - SOLVED] CC32 AIM details - "frozen"

Okay, this has been posted before, but I'm making a puzzle thread because we haven't really looked into it. It may be the thing that we are 'overlooking' according to my last chat with CC32. (Or it may not, who knows. Very Happy)

Quote:

Up and down, life goes round, taking you by suprise.
But don't be sad, get out and be glad, you have a life to live, so be wise!

Freeze.
That's rough.
Stop being overt.
No, no, no, Zeta!
I like to get even.
Never even think about saying never.

I have no clue where to start. It all seems so jumbled and disjointed. Any ideas?

Numbers thing

Well at first glance it looks like a numbers thing:

If you look at the last part,
Quote:
Freeze.
That's rough.
Stop being overt.
No, no, no, Zeta!
I like to get even.
Never even think about saying never.

The structure of the sentances are
1 word
2 words
3 words
4 words
5 words
6 words

So if you apply numbers to the top section you get :

3,3,4,4,5,6,3

Not sure if thats the way to go, but its a start.

Robert Frost

The page has writing from Robert Frost:
http://home.comcast.net/~projectgateway/frozen.htm

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Some say the world will end in fire, some say ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice.

What about the capital letters in the page? Is this the translation or just the complete poem?

And what about the mail? Should we mail the name of the author somewhere?

Surferstick, did you actually translate that, or did you guess from the lines already there? Looks like a Vigniere cypher anyway, if it is the complete poem in code. Certainly crackable.

Anyway, another yea for Robert Frost. I'm asking about him in the 32nd notes email, I think. Pgcc32 isn't on AIM right now.

It is indeed a Viginere cipher. I decoded it by trial and error.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The key is "icecap".

When decoded you get the full poem, as posted above. I don't see any changes or omissions.
