I took the list and arranged in categories that are grouped alike and with complements.
Some of the words don't have complements and I think those are words that are not to be used.
I think what we are looking for are complementary words that were not supplied in the list.

The complementary words not supplied in the list are in [ ].

The CUTEBEE.gif clue: SOUNDS LIKE; leads me to believe that words we want will be homonyms.

(operator, binary state)
OFF // ON
OPPOSITE // ( I cannot think of any homonyms)

(temporal/ spatial position)
BEFORE // AFTER, BEHIND, PAST
FROM // TO
OVER // UNDER
BETWEEN
BEYOND
ABOUT, BY, NEAR // [AWAY, DISTANT, FAR, REMOTE, ...]

(spatial position point)
BELOW, BENEATH, UNDERNEATH // ABOVE
AGAINST, ASIDE, AT, BESIDE, ONTO, WITH // [SEPARATE, DISTANT, ...]

(spatial position vectored)
INTO, TOWARD // [AWAY, OUT, OUTWARD, ...]

(spatial position distributed)
ACROSS, ALONG, ROUND, THROUGH // ( I cannot think of any homonyms)

(spatial containment)
INSIDE, IN // OUTSIDE
WITHIN // WITHOUT

(spatial distribution)
AMID, AMONG, AROUND, THROUGHOUT //(I can't think of any homonyms)

The only word that I can this a homonym for any of the above words is AWEIGH, I tried this and it did not work,

I hope somebody else has better luck.

Just trying to figure out what the wav name could be from the wav files we currently have. Not getting that far, just thought I should point out my [SPEC] as to what is said at the end of the missing wav file to cause Rani to say "Well this is MY day" at the beginning of little_brave.wav, namely that Herzog said something along the lines of "Back in my day..." Possibly saying something like "Back in my day, people were scrambling for opportunities such as this"

Just a little something for you all to chew on!

- Malrog is pleased that the puzzles have been more testing this time!

Okay so every word has to do with the location of something in relation to something else...

Maybe that's how we need to think about it?

Position
Locale
arrangement

Have we tried words like this yet?

We debated over 'preposition' and 'position' for a good long while. I tried location and a few words that sounded alike (such as vocation) without success. This has been a hairy beast of a puzzle.

I can't believe we haven't got this yet! Shocked Props to the PMs!

Edit: Maybe we're barking up the wrong tree here. I just tried loads of combinations of 'fortune _____' (forty-one prepositions ~= fortune preconditions, etc) but no joy.

Maybe they're the first words of song titles?
underneath - your clothes
without - you

etc.

charades

I know that "sounds like" is a signal in the game charades which is made by cupping your hand behind your ear. I had an idea that all the prepositions are --small words-- or --little words--, which also has a hand signal in charades.

I haven't had a chance to try out this theory.

Something to note -- you need to have "http://transmit.ilovebees.com/outbound/" in front of the filename you're trying, as www.etc. isn't guaranteed to work, whereas transmit.etc. always does. Keep on trucking!

Actually, whatever subdomain you have there has no effect at all, that was found out early in the game when people "discovered" http://xbox.ilovebees.com and made all sorts of stupid connections about it.

The only reason one works better than another sometimes is if people click on the axon wavs too quickly after they are enhottenated (before the file is uploaded) and the 404 is cached so that address continually returns the error. Then people have found that using another subdomain means they can get the wav (because that url is not cached).

I rather like "position" to be in the name, 'cause it both sounds like preposition and all the prepositions can be used to describe location (as opposed to prepositions like "since"). But, that might just be on the totally wrong tack, so.

Split up preposition and you get "pre" and "position." Could it be referring to some sort of former position?

That sounds plausible, but if you look here http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7100&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=135 there were instances earlier today where we couldn't get .wav files with the correct name without transmit... but it could still be the problem with the 404 caching, I'm just trying to give people more things to try =)

Here are a couple of other ideas...
"sounds like" could be echos
prepositions are also called locators
echolocator? echolocation?

Since the wav we are looking for seems to be related to Rani's job I tried all sorts of names like

my_position, my_proposition, this_position etc

But nothing Neutral This is really frustrating
