Agreed. Speaking as a guy who literally can't free up time to do anything, ever, besides comment and provide opinions on current situations (and be confused when I disappear for extended periods of time, come back, and missed some critical development or speculation that's guiding our line of thought at the time I return) best of luck to everyone who tries to organize one of these protests.

 		Hmm. I hope Evan doesn't take it the wrong way, but we're going to keep up with it anyway -- keeping track of HABIT is still a priority, no matter how infantile his actions are. We can't afford to let him slip through the cracks just because.

For housekeeping purposes while I put together this note I went back and looked again at the message Steph left on her tumblr when she was taken into custody. This jumped out at me:

First of all, let me say I'm sorry about what happened to Can You See The Words. I get creeped out whenever I just get some spyware on my computer, so I can't imagine how frightening it is to have something so personal to you taken over by someone or something which is clearly malevolent and has been after you guys for months. I wanted to get in touch with you because I had some questions, and because you're the person we HYBRIDs have had the least access to in the last several months. I apologize and understand if anything I ask is too personal, but after Jeff spoke to Glenn about his parents and suggested we all be a bit more blunt, I felt that perhaps taking the initiative was necessary. All we want to do is help.

First, and this is probably for nothing but I was just curious as to whether there was any prior indication that CYSTW had been taken over by an intruder. Anything unusual on your account, in your email, any weird happenings in your day-to-day life?

Also: what's YOUR take on HABIT - who he is, where he is, where he came from? We've heard what the guys think of him, who he might be, but we haven't heard what you've had to say about him, or his claims, or what you think about why he's sending us these boxes or what the documents inside them mean. Specifically, I'm curious as to what you think of the papers on those children in Centralia, and what the "Everyman" annotations we saw mean - the ones about the Guardian, the Voyeur, the Firebrand, and the cycle, and the flood.

I'm very curious as to your take on this stuff, Stephanie, because I know your experience with him (and I don't mean HABIT) has been different from the others. You told us on CYSTW that you'd been dreaming of him - and I am not capitalizing the 'h,' thank you - since you were a baby. How did it start, as you remember it? What was that like, all those years? What did he want, and did you ever speak to your family about it? When did you last hear from him? You say you once sought help before, and that it ended badly - I'm sure this is difficult to discuss, but what happened?

I know you've said before that you withheld information for fear of drawing people in deeper, of getting them hurt, but the HYBRIDs already know about this, and according to either HABIT or him, we're already all on the "same sinking vessel." But you see, Stephanie, the thing is that I don't believe that. I believe that forewarned is forearmed, and you can almost say that this guy is just like any other garden variety bully, or abuser - the less people know, the more he's going to get away with based on an established culture of fear and silence. Like any predator. The only weapon you have now is information, and I think you know more than just about any of us. So if you have anything left to say, now's the time. He took your family. He took your journal. But he doesn't have you or what you know, and you're not helpless or alone anymore, at all. You have a choice to act.

I'm sorry to ask so many questions. I'll understand if you can't answer them all, or if you don't want to say anything. But please, remember what I've said. He took your family, isolated you, and sent you on the way. We now have evidence that he's been doing that to a lot of kids, for a long time - not just Corenthal's children, but all those children from the news clippings Jeff and Vinnie found, the troubled kids Corenthal went to visit whose families all turned up dead. Just like Jeff and Alex's parents, and like yours. This is a pattern, it is a cycle, and it can be broken. You just have to take the information you do have in hand, and put it out there to use against him, because the truth is you're not his pawn. You are not guilty.

I seriously hope this gets answered. And not angrily, 'cause I want to hear Steph's side of things. She's been way too quiet for way too long, and we can't really be there for her if she doesn't talk to us.
