I believe Mr. Hood is in fact Jay. And I will tell you why.

This is my long theory that envelops the entire MH saga.

The Operator, as the name suggests, controls people. Just as an operator controls a network of telephones, MH's Operator controls a network of maskies. You'll notice I said "maskies" plural. That's because Tim aka Masky is not the only Slenderminion. I believe that Jay is a masky as well. Perhaps they're all maskies. Hoody is not the first example of another masked character. You'll notice if you pay careful attention throughout the videos, other masks pop up briefly.




Since Tim is only seen wearing the one mask, this would imply that these others are separate entities. The reason I think Jay is this new "Hoody" character is quite simple: he disappears for long periods of time with no memory of the events. This oftentimes happens in fiction with people who have split personalities (The Hulk/ Jekyll and Hyde, etc) And come now people, are we forgetting this little entry?




What the hell was that? Time travel? Teleportation? This sounds like the work of ol' Slendy to me. And what about the TTA video of Jay with Slendy, his eyes darkened like a Masky? And in this newest video, JAY's camera captures video of this new Hoody guy, but JAY is nowhere to be found. Perhaps this is because Jay IS the Hooded Masky.

I'm assuming Entry 41 picks up right after entry 40 when Jay sees Slendy. Jay runs away, but NO ONE CAN ESCAPE THE ALMIGHTY TALLEST. Whereby Slendy mindfucks him, turning him into Hoody. Notice the residual distortion coming from Hoody. That's Slender exposure right there. And who just had a close encounter with Slendy? Exact.

tl;dr There's evidence that supports my theory that Jay is Hoody or at least a masky. Oh, and there's more than one Masky.

Just earlier today I watched #26 again and noticed the mask at the beginning. It had never occurred to me that this could be another MaskyMinion.
Since seeing 41 I thought that Jay might possibly be Hoody, but I don't think he's a minion. I think he merely donned that attire in the hope that Slendy wouldn't recognize him. -shrug-
But I'm still on the fence, either Jay or Alex.

Now it may just be a coincidence, but this new guy and Skully have the same hood. Different mask, same hood. Could it mean something?

I don't remember anything happening with Skully so please forgive me if he was already explained.

EDIT: Don't know why there is a red line over it, I found it on photobucket since I can't remember the entry/TTA he was in.

I hate to break it to you, but that's all the same mask for two major reasons.

1, an OOG reason: Do you think they bought like four extra masks just for one scene where they blurred it so it's not entirely noticeable that they're multiple masks?

Which brings me to 2, which is that when you apply a huge blurring effect, which is there in all but one of those images, it will look different. The eyebrows of the mask will not be as noticeable, or will be gone entirely with enough blur, and so will the black of the eyes.

I have Sony Vegas 10 (Troy uses SV9), and if you wish I can take a clear image of the "default" mask and blur it in different ways with Vegas to prove it.

I think this poll needs to be redone. Get rid of that silly Denver Broncos choice and add Jessica and Amy to the list.

1) The new masky is Jessica

2) new masky is Brian
