Ok well I'm in @Toronto... messy lack of communication between theater and Paramount, but the first theater is filing up now (this theater decided to a second screen to account for the overbooking).

There was a name list, but no ID check, just checking off people coming in. And everyone got (relatively simple) Super8 tshirt. And a voucher for small drink and popcorn Smile

Ok I really wish they would have emailed us earlier.. So I got to the Castro theater, and the guy at the booth said it was at 11 pm, he said that paramount people just sent out an email saying that it's at 11, no eked to print out a new ticket, "get there early, lines will start at 8. Unclear, we're good to go if you're gonna get there at 8. I highly doubt lines start at 8 though, don't think that a lot of people would want to go considering parking sucks, and it's at 11, which would mean that people would have to take an owl..
Me=slightly pissed off...

Oh crap, missed your last post.. My original email said "Wednesday, June 8th, 11pm ... Doors Open: 8pm - please arrive early". Kinda lame if we really don't need to be there early, but I'm glad to hear we'll get in for sure pretty much! I'm just gunna wait it out when I get there, already driving out there. I'll see ya there, buddy!

Yeah, Joe wears a shirt too.

My theater passed out the simple Super 8 design T-shirt, and a Super 8 poster. Not a movie poster with credits, just a three-tone poster saying Super 8. Pretty cool. No hats... they gave out five buckets with mostly non-related goods except the Super 8 ball, a mini Super 8 flashlight, and a Crazy 8's deck of cards being the only direct references. They did it via trivia that had nothing to do with the backstory or ARG at all, so I didn't win a single bucket. Pretty bummed about how pathetic the questions were.

Oh yeah, the movie was great!

You too man! And I did see the Slusho sign, actually two definitely different signs at the same location in the movie. Missed the Coop shirt altogether =\
