And "Mary Smith" now has a new story posted. She wants us to make new things out of "32 bits" (I think).

The coded "strings" we have can be combined to make two strings of 32 characters each. But I don't have the encryption knowledge (or tools) to figure out what to do with them.

Also, re previous post, the anagram is for "I know anaconda elicits sluggers"

"Above all others, Snorkle256, we feel that you have the ability to put the pieces together given your skills and expertise.

This first message is simply a test transmission, a handshake if you will. We need to know we have a clear channel before anything further can be said.

We hope you can live up to the high expectations we have for you."

So anybody get anything in the mail yet?
Or is there another message somewhere. I honestly haven't been paying attention too closely, but will still make an effort to solve the things put in front of me.

Sorry I've been quiet guys, it's been a mad week!

The message mentions having the "keys" to decode them. So maybe the "nein" shred is supposed to be a decryption key for the numbers? I know someone mentioning something to do with a hash key earlier?

I agree that Mary's latest article is telling us to put all 32 bits together. But what next... I don't really know. I'll sleep on it.

Email to PR team!

[/quote]
Greetings Public Relations Team,

First, something light: a quick reminder from Product Development. You may have noticed that there is a list of product prototypes on your sidebar. These prototypes are the work of your colleagues and all ColeFusion employees can take part in deciding our next flagship product. You have until end of day this Friday, June 10 to review and rank each prototype. The prototype with the largest audience share and highest rank will be our next flagship product and the creator will get a promotion.

Next, something serious.

Our company is being dragged through the mud. I'm hearing rumours ranging from "Are you poisoning your employees" to "Did you kill that guy in the newspaper" to "Are you really against democracy?". I mean, really, WTF, right? (For the record: no comment, no comment, no comment, right?)

So here's what I'm thinking: rather than constantly reacting to these allegations and dancing around with angry, embittered journalists, we need to work on cleaning up our company's reputation. We need a clean, slick PR campaign to wow the drooling masses.

If you're thinking whitewash or greenwash, you're on the right track. Take any environmental or social cause and stick our name on it. Starving orphans? Meh. Starving orphan treeplanters? Better. Starving orphan treeplanters who live net-zero carbon footprint lifestyles while volunteering their time at the local soup kitchen? Now you're talking.

Be subtle, be keen, be gentle. The public doesn't want to hear about all of the trash; they want to shop with a clear conscience. Let's give them one. ColeFusion needs to come out looking so saintly that even the Pope himself will feel dirty in our presence.

You'll notice a new link entitled Add a PR Campaign at the bottom of the Public Relations menu. Go here and add as many campaigns as you like. Make sure to include some sample artwork so that we can get a sense of your idea. If you sufficiently impress me, you're in line for a promotion.

Once I look over your work, I'll post it for everyone in the department to see.

Also, those monkeys in the IT department assure me that this system works. If anyone has any issues please let me know so I can yell their ears o

Looking forward to your work.

I had a thought on the characters from the video.

This looks like a 64 character hex string used in WPA encryption for wireless networks.

Thoughts?

Hey guys. Very Happy

I signed up with Colefusion a few days ago, and finally got a response today -- count me in as a new member of the PR team! (my name on there is RisingDawn).

Evening everyone. First things first vote for luminaire! blah blah whatever. Puzzlin' time.

So, I've tried decoding our fine string as a 32 bit hex code into text, (jibberish), turning it from hex into binary and running that (Nada), opening the hex as an image, .exe, ect. Not much working out of those lines of thinking. However, when combined with our seeming anagrams, it leads me to believe that A), the hex is also jumbled and needs to be decoded, although that would be incredibly time consuming and boring, B), it ain't hex, or C) it is a code that requires a key.

On that last note, a clue in the poem is the word "clarion", as in "clarion call". The Clarion was a 13-14th century hone, and it is also a range of scale from B4 to C6. If those are our "two and two" and the string is our "scrap of text", we have a key and a jumble. I've no idea how to mix the two to make something worthwhile, however.

Good luck, gents.

Props on using the whole sentence CSS &, Yaha, the shred of text is imo likely something other than "nein"(& part of a longer word?). Can post an enlargement if there's interest.

While the poem's "take two and two" sounds simple enough to form two MD5 hashes, esp. since 2 strings have 15bits & 2 have 17bits, no combos have brought me any joy. Evil or Very Mad Just reposting them again for convenience. Also like the other encryption ideas 'tho don't know how to work them and wishing you G'Luck bigtime with your design, Christien.

New story on City Journal Post and Stop3points, both about soccer protest.

ETA: I think i've got the code!
I combined strings 1+3, and 2+4, ran them through an md5 decoder and got:
1+3= section
2+4= watching
Add that with the scrmbled word "nine" and i got "section nine watching"

I sent an email to s3p waiting for a reply!
