Now that it's over, how close can we newbies get?

Hi all,
I started the game at the very beginning of April, not knowing it'd be ending later this month. I'm wondering, now that it's even now that it's over, how far along I could get? Lots of Act II is still in place:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
107.9 is up, the merchants still have coins, the EWPA site still functions.

But other stuff seems like it's going to be difficult. Some things have an easy workaround
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Sounds of Ascension

But I'm wondering, is it even possible to continue now in any satisfying way, when people and resources just won't be around? Is enough of the adventure information-based, where this forum could keep us moving, to make it worth going on? Thanks for the help!

unfortunately probably not. Jeff said that it's illusory that it's mosty automated. there's a lot of human maintenance that needs to be done to make sure things work properly. it's going to get to the point where only the installations will remain. you can check out my flickr account for my walk through if you need the clues but otherwise it'll be hard to have the authentic experience anymore. sad i know. (also if you could add these sorts of questions to relevant threads instead of making new ones that'd be cool).

"Now that it's over" seemed like the best thread for me to post this, in case Obs doesn't come along and make a new thread of his own for it:

...anyone interested in a Jejune institute fence sign? Since the game's over I'm considering snatching it en route to my car...

no point there, I was just informing people that a piece of memorabilia was up for grabs. In a follow-up I see that Obtusitivity did indeed grab the sign.

object acquired. Now I need to find another couple that're still around so I can send some to #argfest

sorry for intruding.

No no, you're not intruding!

I have to admit, I didn't catch the context of your post offering the sign, either, but I mostly read this board through RSS and "tweet" wasn't a link.

Is ARGFest collecting Soon Obsolete signs? I'm totally curious now. Smile
