Don't you mean Alex's car? Jay's car was the one he put the camera in.
Like I said before, Hoody could have put the camera back BEFORE Alex arrived.

A red herring to keep us distracted. Everybody is focusing on that when their attention should lie elsewhere. Where should it be focused? Alex's back seat.

I'm pretty sure they said Jay didn't know the woods. If Hoody does, then Hoody could have walked straight to the car while Jay ran through the woods not sure exactly where he's going, just hopefully out. (And away from Slenderman)

...that's jay's car.

edit: if you meant alex's, then yeah, it's not. which means that the camera wasn't returned between alex getting there and alex and jay getting back to their cars.

but in entry #41, the masked person didn't sit under a tree at all. he walked straight across the field to the car. also, jay's car wasn't there yet when he/she returned the camera.

You didn't even see where tta went because entry 41 ended aiming up at the clouds

It's worth pointing out that it's June in Alabama. Unless that person was planted there, nobody in their right mind would be wearing a hoodie with the hood up this time of year.

When Alex leaves his car, he left his window down. When he comes back the window is up. It's probably just an error the creators overlooked, but it could mean something.

We have to keep in mind that which cars were there in between the 3 entries will have changed over time due to different filming dates, so which vehicles are present might be a moot point to debate when there had been hints that Alex was supposed to be there for the filming of Entry 41.
