Just checked the wikidot page for Marble Hornets and this entry, and it mentions the possible hoody in Alex's car, but not the possible wave. I know its no more speculation than this forum is, but still..

I'm not sure that the "hoody" in Alex's car is actually a hoody. But in this series I'm not really sure of anything.

I'm not going to jump any conclusions either, since... you know, no one knows except for Troy... but I think it's a serious jump to think the beige thing in his car was placed there to implicate Alex in anyway.

Kind of a stretch if you ask me.

It could be a red herring to throw people off track. And if so, it would be working.

Hear hear!

I second the thought that Alex was adjusting his glasses. We've seen the humans in the series do mundane things before, after all.

I could buy that if it weren't for the eldritch horror that Jay had just seen. The camera was the last thing on Jay's mind and I think it was pretty apparent he wasn't coming back anytime soon by the way he booked it out of the clearing.

I do agree with your other point though. I think we even see Alex make a similar annoyed motion(finger and thumb to the bridge of the nose) at the beginning of 42 after he gets Jay's message.

I'm going to take this time to reiterate the point that the 15 minutes of "nothing" on the camera doesn't necessarily translate to 15 minutes of the camera lying there in real time, the tape could have skipped, messed up in transition to his computer (Assuming that's where he's watching it) or something else.

True, it wouldn't be the first time that time and/or space has been bent we can't rule it out implicitly.

Another possibility is that Blasky was waiting for some slendy effect to pass. Note in 41, he walks up to it after it turns back on.

I'm trying to stray as far from the supernatural as possible. While I understand that there has been time-travel and teleportation in the past, I don't want it to be the "Wizard did it." argument.

Oh I agree! I was saying that we just shouldn't rule it out, Chekov's Gun n all that.

I.E. after Slendy himself leaves. More of a possibility since we obviously don't know exactly what the Operator causes to happen on cam. However it seems logical. Jay drops the camera leaving it facing the direction he runs away. If Slendy were following him, that would mean our good thin man 'walked' almost if not -directly over- the camera.

That would fit with the whole 15 min black out doesn't = 15 min real time. Plus it would also explain why Jay was still running even when Alex finally made it there. Perhaps this wasn't just an encounter but a full pursuit.

As far as teleporting goes, the only thing I see that would really suggest that is 40, when Jay appears in the clearing. Which would explain why he misestimates how deep in he is / how long it will take him to get back to the car. As we have only seen teleportation effecting Jay, specifically to 'pull him in' I think this is far mor likely than hoody being able to freely teleport.

Mmm... I dunno about that. Slendy isn't exactly confined to the woods. If you're right than he could have certainly continued to chase after Jay once he left, and more so that Alex was there.

That's like walking into your favourite fast food joint and realizing their a two for one.

I'm pretty positive that Hoody isn't Jessica. Hoody is TTA, and if that is so, then why would TTA still be making videos today considering Jessica is normal again.

Yep, I'm siding with the camp saying that the 15 minutes of nothing probably wasn't in real time.

Also, Alex could just be waving to who he thinks is just a friendly stranger. I don't think it makes much of a difference if he is waving, adjusting his glasses or whatever...I think it was just to bring our attention to Hoody under the tree.

If she were TTA in season 1, but had her memory erased at the same time Jay did, then it would make sense for her to start posting videos again once she got back to "normal". I'm not a huge supporter of Jess = TTA though. the phone conversation she has with a friend makes her seem not quite as involved as TTA is at that point in the series.

This probably belongs in the TTA thread though XD

Great entry.

For me, and my own opinion, I learned this:

TTA is the Hoody guy/girl.
TTA is not Alex.
Alex is is not ducking Jay.
TTA is attempting to help Jay.

What if Masky has a split personality...He is TTA and that side of him is trying to help them when he's not under control of the Operator?!!?
