Sorry to make you trek there for nothing Rocket. I really did hope they took all of our real world searching to heart and left our hunter a trophy =( I would have....

It wasn't for nothing Jane – I did get to talk to another nice person on my hunt. There was an elderly gentleman who I think was visiting his wife's grave. He was sitting on a bench near the shed and was curious about why I was searching around the building. We talked about the movie shoot in Weirton. He told me a few local behind the scenes accounts about how people he knows were involved. He asked if I saw the movie and wondered if any of the cemetery scenes were in it. I told him there were a couple scenes showing the area with the burial plots and the building.
I didn't have the heart to tell him how the badass superior being alien was involved in the area near his dearly departed's grave.

Oh well, once again – the people I've met have made the whole hunt worthwhile. But yeah –

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO FIND A TROPHY!!!

Also, it suddenly becomes a cube and not a Vitas Relic?

If every cube was a component part of the spacecraft, how could it reconstitute itself at the end with one cube missing?(the one Josh found)

I really am pissed off about the tones . They do not emit from the device in the movie at any time and we are left wondering why it was the first clue from the Bragen 14 and why it was even used at all..
We all spent weeks and weeks researching and trying to decipher its meaning only to find it meant nothing.. I just dont understand why they went thru the trouble of creating, recording and posting this .. what were we supposed to do with it? Nothing..
I guess thats my main beef with this whole game. There was absolutely nothing for us to do except be onlookers, so they made up shit to keep us busy.. Given the materials provided for the game, I bet any of us could have come up with a better ARG than our friend Dave Baronoff did. I suggest we send him a letter expressing our disappointment over it with the hope that if he is in charge of the nest JJ ARG, he will have to make it at least as challenging as the Star trek one was and not string us along for a year ...

Sure does - guess that makes more sense than an alien and the man on the moon considering the context...

Maybe I need to don the foil hat one more time. Foily! Do you have any foil left Jane?

Re: Behind the tool shed

Didn't read the recent posts to this thread until this morning. Now I know why Jane sent me a message last night to say I might want to check behind the tool shed at the cemetery. There were some crazy storms moving through Weirton last night – so I told Jane I'd check this morning.

So what I saw there was some granite and marble slabs leaning against the wall, a little frog that jumped behind one of the slabs, and a roof shingle. To the left of the building there are a few concrete slabs poured (like a short sidewalk) and there is a small concrete container with a marble lid. I removed the lid and – sorry to say – it was empty. So if there was anything ARG related in it, someone else got to it first and I am WAY disappointed in myself for not getting there sooner.

I hope if someone did find something he/she is someone who knows about the ARG and lets us know what it is. Maybe it's where Josh found the bag of syringes and drugs. For all I know, this concrete container has been around for a while and is used for some funeral rite – this is a Catholic cemetery and I'm not familiar with any funeral custom that it might be used for – so if someone here knows what it is let us know.

Finally – one of the slabs was engraved with lines from Psalm 130. Could this be ARG related? Maybe words Alexander 'Mysterio' Kaslov thought might help Josh find peace after being told his father was dead. I really was hoping to find some kind of relic I could keep. But I sure didn't think this slab was something I should bring home with me to save as ARG swag. Razz

For the record - here are pics of the slab and empty container:

EDIT: After looking at the slab pic again - I wondered what on earth was hovering in the heavens about the guy's head. It reminds me of a spaceship on the right and the man in the moon face from RP on the left. (Probably just my hope for a connection taking my imagination for a ride.)

That looks like a grave for a urn, which is usually placed into the ground.
Would have been awesome if something were in there.
