After Randomguy made the solve, I copy and pasted the username I had saved to a text document I was using to keep track of words I've already tried, and it didn't work. I realized then it was because it had to be all lower case letters or it wouldn't work.. so chances are even if I had gotten the UN/PW correct, it would not have went through because I was using all uppercase for THEGRANDSUMMONER (backwards of course).

As for the "Sorry, you are too late", I'm guessing this is when the shadow is going to make Lukas commit suicide off Suicide Bridge? I've shot both him and Carol an email (Even though I'm sure others already have), warning them of 12:03am, June 20th... If I get a response, I'll post it asap.

On a whim I also sent theoccultist a message via his Youtube channel, asking him what will happen on this specific time and date, because I'm sure he is just dying to tell us lol.

where did you see this in the source code? I've checked and couldn't find it.. is there anything different you did to see it? Just wondering for future reference itd be helpful, thanks Smile

Nevermind, found it. I'm slow >.<

I hope this doesn't mean the game is essentially on "pause" until June 20th.. maybe we solved some of the puzzles too quickly?

 		Ok... I didn't notice this because I was viewing it on my cell phone before, but did anyone else notice the runes in the pupil of the eye in THIS:

 		I'm not trying to argue, I'm sure midnight makes sense for the countdown, but I don't see how you're getting that. I just checked at 5:00 PM EST and it said exactly 5 days. 5:00 EST should be 2:00 California time.
I don't know how I'm getting a 14 hour difference. Is it just me? A browser problem somehow?

i just double checked the timer and it said 5days 10hrs 44mins.. its 5:19pm EST which means 10 hours and 44mins from now would be 3:03am.. since PST is 3 hours behind EST, itd be 12:03am, June 20th..

I could be wrong myself but is anyone else getting what I'm getting? My computer has been known to go wonky on times and time zones so I didnt bother basing it off my computers clock..

EDIT: @5pm EST your timer said 5days, 0hrs, 0mins? thats the only way I could see it being 2pm PST.. could it be that we have different timers?

Maybe better warn them about 12:pm ;)
The source code (in the javascript file) says:

We all agree the day is the 20th of this month, and it clearly says the hour is "13" (on a 24-hour clock), and the timezone was probably intended to be for California, which is normally -8 for Pacific Standard time, but we're in Daylight Savings mode right now.

As I post this right now, the screen tells me
Time Remaining : 4 days + 23h : 33m (approximately)
where my current time here is 2:27pm PDT.
So i'm looking for zero-moment to be 2:00pm on Monday, California time.

The annoying thing is that this is being done in javascript and not anything server-side to do the sanity check. Maybe we can all reset our computer clocks ahead five days and watch something cross over from a parallel dimension?


oh, while i'm here, i just wanted to give a shout-out to whatever marketing team is watching (hi, puppetmasters!) and thank them for adding a line to that external press/media website: "ARG -> OOG site" indeed!

EDIT: Which external press/media site were you referring to there Cather? I saw a site called something along the lines of "Charon Pictures" that had to do with LAGP Production of their reality show and the alarm went up for a moment because Charon->Acheron Ferryman->IG? but alas, it only took 3.4 seconds to realize it was not Sad

the "Enter" link used to take me to http://thelagp.com/filmfestinfo/index.html which had links for press releases and media kits, that sort of thing, but at the time I *think* they were empty placeholders -- i wish i had poked around more when I had the chance! Below the "Enter" line is the ARG/OOG line, a neat little disclaimer for those of us in the know, but probably a cryptic footnote for those who do not.

The other site you were thinking of is http://www.charonpictures.com/ which is more about the background of the director -- you know, the one helping our protagonists film some of their spooky investigations ;)
