i sent a email suggesting a place to send them to search to keep them busy
ifs for a island of myth similar to atlantis and the coordinates were recently released due to a program called ancient aliens so i emailed it to Robert as a suggestion since they said:

We've started them off with places including Afghanistan and the Bermuda triangle, but we need to keep the pressure up. Mail any thoughts to us or Robert and we'll keep feeding them into the machine. The more outlandish and hard to get to, the better

so here is what i sent them

52" 09' 42.532 N
13" 13' 12.69 W

The coordinates are of a sunken island off the west coast of England/Ireland,
Hy Brasil referred to as 'the other Atlantis .

I sent them the following locations:

1 Dry Valleys (Antartica)
2 Socotra Island (Indian Ocean)
3 Salar de Uyuni (Bolivia)

All are extremely alien looking locations.

Got a response back from Ellie:

Oh wow, yes they do - especially this one of the Dry Valleys.

We'll get those co-ordinates on the list ASAP

Cheers Scott

Ellie

I sent them a couple, like Everest and The sahara, but I figure that others might've sent those. I also suggested Eyjafjoell, the iceland volcano that's been interrupting flights. (Or at least, the most recent one- I won't get the chance to thoroughly look stuff up until tonight.) I think that'd keep them occupied! =D

Here were my suggestions:
Anywhere in Antarctica or north in the Arctic circle.
Maybe a fly-by over Area 51, if there is any 100% no fly zone, that is it.
Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia the location of the Tunguska explosion is an interesting place.
Chernobyl, hopefully make there instruments go haywire.
Machu Picchu.

I sent them:
Yonaguni-jima, Japan: remote, tiny island where people have been claiming a rock formation is a sunken 3,000yo highly advanced civilization
Rub' al-Khali, Oman: the Empty Quarter, an enormous desert. There's a lost city there. They also have spiders that'll eat your face off in your sleep. Nice place. Smile
Nazca Lines.

Y'know... maybe the budget codes aren't nonsense after all. Maybe they're using the err... one of the new ones is KHMER (lol) as spaces between words/concepts. It kinda looks like maybe it says something, though it's hard since some of the codes have more than one output (Unicode vs. Quwei, ShiftJIS, etc). Some of the Chinese characters depending on the encoding aren't translatable readily so I'm just assuming if it requires radical lookup I should disregard.

Will let you know if anything comes of it...

These are the guys that are doing the ARG. If anyone gets an email from them, they are asking for some of us to input our experience with this ARG for an online Magazine.

And back to in-game stuff:

I sent a few cities in Mexico that are currently under control from drug cartels. A few nicely dressed Americans will have no problem getting in...however getting out is a different story.

Dictionary funtimes over, I'm left with this, outside of an old reading in Chinese that would make "auspicious" into "arrow/arrowhead". The actual <-- arrow is there because one of the codes produces an actual arrow. Dashes represent characters in totally random languages I'm not even going to try and translate (N'Ko, Myanmar, Khmer).

-- (talented, urgent) (same/together with) -- (win/gain, profit) (sound of moving carriages / prison transport) -- (rough, coarse) (tadpole) (booty/loot/stolen goods) <-- (compose/compile)OR(decrease/lower; criticize) -- (auspicious/propitious) (good luck/omen) (sign/to signal; to fall)

Soooooo... I dunno. Attempt to write something, or total gobbledygook? XD It's possible they ran something through an online translator and then shifted some of the words to other languages, though that's more of a "complete pain to translate" instead of a "code".
