I've noticed a new trend when I read the responses whenever a new Entry is posted, and it's a little alarming. A good number are letting these blog posts influence their opinions about what goes on within the Marble Hornets story. It should go without saying, but this is not my intention at all. I purposefully leave a ton out and don't share any behind-the-scenes-production-stuff that could spoil things in any way.

So yeah.

Other than that, the response to #41 has been great! I think that reshoot was definitely worth it.

I'm off for a long weekend starting today. I'll be visiting probably-the-best-place-in-Alabama Auburn to have some long overdue outside time. Going to try and write the script for #42 while I'm out there. Vacation shmaycation.

Ok so I'm a little late to the Troy posts on this board discussion but I'm convinced that Troy posted here under the username OpenClear. It was OpenClear who first brought Marble Hornets to the UnFiction boards with the [Trailhead] Marble Hornets thread which is now in the stickies section which was three days after the Introduction video, he also gave the twitter link in the 1st post.

Of the four posts he made here it was this one about Entry #5 that really makes me suspect that it was Troy trying to get the ball rolling for MH.

Sounds somewhat plausible. I hope that we don't really find out if he does have just one solid screen name on here though. Every time we'd get a new entry or TTA response we'd be going " (J's screen-name) Come in here and tell us what it means plz!".

While I think it's a possibility that he's on here I think it's far more likely that he's reading the comments here and only using the Twitter account to give the helpful nudges as he has done a few times recently.

Still think the OpenClear account was Troy, if you look at the original SA thread they posted as Ce gars and KicksYouInHalf, the KYIH was pretending to be a poster theorising about the entries.

Or he could be helping out on a completely different shoot. He's a film student in contact with other film students, MH is not going to be the only project arising from his course.

Though the fact he alludes to having editing to do suggests to me that he's got an Entry/TTA vid or two in the can already, so hopefully we'll get something fairly soon once he's no longer on the wind.
