Oh, fuck.
OH FUCK.

This was a nice update, definitely feels like a good introduction into what could perhaps be considered a "second season." The interview with Noah's parents did feel a bit... scripted, but I'm assuming they aren't professional actors. I still enjoyed it. I like how several series have recently been hinting at the fact that our protagonists have been dealing with these things long before opening a YouTube account, whether they were aware of it or not. It adds to the idea that Slenderman has been around for a long, long time. I loved how he vanished with the quick wave of a hand. It's awesome seeing him actually do something supernatural on camera, and Tribe Twelve has always been superb at delivering that. And then, we're hit with it.

DAT CROSSOVER.

I think I speak for quite a few when I say I was not expecting that. An envelope from HABIT of all people... it gave me chills. I don't really understand all of the negative reactions. What is this awkward beef between TT and EMH fans? I love both series, and don't see any reason we should be expected to pick sides. It would seem the people behind both series obviously agree with that, as well. I'm very excited to see where this goes! As Nimbus has already stated several times, we can trust for this to be handed very well. We may not even see the protagonists from either series meet, and just see HABIT antagonize them both simultaneously. I also wonder how the Observer will react to someone else sending Noah weird packages. This could go so many different ways, and I can't wait to see what happens!

However, if Jay receives a mysterious envelope anytime soon? I may go into shock.

Okay, I'm back. Looks like the discussion hasn't really gotten very far. Have all the pieces of the note been found?

Edit: Mm, also, it should be said. Sorry for analmad. The crossover, such as it is, is nothing to get worked up over.

Now that I've had time to sleep and calm down a bit I'm ready for this crossover. I'm still not overly enthused, but I'm willing to roll with the punches.

My biggest problem is that EMH is just so daunting. I followed it for a while and I really enjoyed it, but then it just ballooned into such a massive thing that I couldn't keep up and was forced to abandon it. I don't hate EMH by any means, it's just too much for me to follow. And that is my issue with the crossover; I love TribeTwelve, arguably more than MarbleHornets, but now that there's a crossover I feel like I'm missing half of the story because I stopped following EMH. If it were as simple as just jumping back in and catching up with EMH it'd be no problem, but it's such a massive ARG by this point I have no idea where to even begin.

If anyone has a detailed summary to help those of us who are in my same position catch up that would be lovely, and might go a long way to making this crossover easier to swallow.

Well, good news everyone!
You wont have to follow EMH to understand what's going on in TribeTwelve. That's the beauty of how subtle this crossover is. It adds a bit of relevant information that links our series, and that's about it. Cool

Thank goodness, Nimbus, I just wish you had said it sooner. I stayed up untill 2 last night reading up on EMH, and then spent 2 more hours reading about the tournament. Now I'm just gonna lay back and eat some chips

Actually I might have more info on the crossover. The girl in the video from box analysis has a bit of a resemblance to Damsel. It's a bit of a stretch, but worth noting

So it occurs to me that in all the Excitement/rage that coincided with the TribeTwelve EMH crossover we probably overlooked some important information in the Parents Interview video. I'm going to go back to watch it again and see if I can't pick out anything noteworthy.

At least 2 people, one being me, have been saying this, and NOBODY listened

EDIT: Noah's wearing a BAWS ring

That'd be a bit of an overkill. Also, unlikely, since MH is still in flashback mode (still retelling events from the time between seasons one and two).

Good three videos. and a nice way to delve back into TT. I loved Slenderman teleporting in the house randomly during the parent interview. Also, this subtle crossover makes me want to get into EMH.

Is it sad that the main thing to jump out at me during the summer update video was... that Noah had utorrent?

Pirate Noah vs. Ninja Observer. Go.
