IDK, I'll go with 12 noon (on the 21st.)
With the sun at its highest point in the northern hemisphere, all things affected by gravity will be slightly taller, and a persons perception of the horizon will be slightly stretched, compared to the day before.

FYI: e-mailed howard but got back the same "Personal incident" e-mail with the exact same wording. Discouraging so soon to when an IRL meet is supposed to be taking place :/

I got a letter from Howard after emailing him. The first one I got was kinda weird and somewhat rude, but it didn't look suspicious.

The SECOND Letter, however, seemed vaguely like an apology. But it DOES look suspicious. Can someone decode it for me:

Quote:
It seems i was wrong to Assume. My apologies. Because of this Enormous workload I have at the moment, i'm all over the place. Not here or there! Greenwich has never been so busy - to be honest will be glad to get out of here next week.
WATCH this space eh? Even researchers need time off. Don't we?
Howard.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Capital letters spell out: "I am being watched"

Could you submit the first letter as well? There could be some kind of message after all.

Well, Howard seemed to miss a little coded message of my own in the e-mail I sent him earlier today (which on the face of it appeared to be about his computer trouble, hence the beginning of his response).

But anyway, something more encouraging here re: tuesday. Like I said though, he appeared to not meet one-on-one (which is fair enough, I'm rather wary of meeting up with people you know from the internet as a general rule), so any one else playing this ARG in London?

Quote:
Jeho - thanks for the ideas - however - the only computer I can use is
at work - money is very tight for me and I do not like to have
anything electronic in my house for... a variety of reasons. Mainly it
interferes with the energies I am learning about.
However, I think I may have worked out the location you all decoded. I
am still working on i - I will discuss tomorrow.
It wasn't a virus at work - just a continual rebooting from something
they termed "Munsell10GY error" - looked it up but think they were
bluffing as couldn't find any computer codes with that error message.
I am sorry I've not been in touch - I want to ensure that if I am
going somewhere on Tuesday, I go to the right place. Are any of you in
London [I'm assuming you're talking to others judging from previous
messages]
Thanks
Howard

Any ideas about the 'error'?

It's simple: Munsell is a colour system and 10GY is the 'lighter green' in this system, like this: http://www.perbang.dk/rgb/44C83F/. So, this whole affair just got some more green into it...

Just had a conversation with Howard:

Quote:

Howard: Things are moving forwards now...
I'm apprehensive though of people in London being availble
available*
[and the watchers in the library only monitor email - not chat so I can talk freely for a bi...]
bit*
Sent at 10:06 PM on Sunday
me: thats good, how are you feeling?
Sent at 10:09 PM on Sunday
Howard: Good overall - getting a little curious though - why all this attention because of that document from my great uncle - who, some say, is alive somehow...
me: I think this document is the key to the green energy you are after..
green magick I mean..
Sent at 10:11 PM on Sunday
Howard: I have reservations... should I, for example, go after it - if others are also interested... they have taken it - it was left in my office andwhen I came back all I found were charred remains and the broken glass - I didn't wexplain because I thought people would find it odd... not believe me...
but it had been set fire to IN THE SCANNER...
Sent at 10:12 PM on Sunday
me: you should, go after it..
Howard: hence the crack and the removal of the document- I thought people would think me odd. Also - if people are watching me, by saying it'd been taken - well it got them off my back a bit
you think?
me: yes... never let the opportunity yo learn go away..
especially when it will connect you to your great uncle..
Howard: I suppose...
Tuesday I go alone then - unless more than one other person can be there too...
me: think of the old times, if the alchemists didnt study forbidden arts, we never would have the chemistry we have today..
I will ask my london friends to come and join you, I know of at least one that can aid..
Howard: It will be at sunset at...
well...
me: where? your transmission broke
Howard: I will let your london friends work it out - but I'll send YOU an email with a rhyme I made up shortly...
two minutes - phone going..
me: okidoki
Sent at 10:17 PM on Sunday
me: by the way, about the Munsell10GY error.. munsell is a color coding schema, and 10GY is a "lighter green".
Sent at 10:21 PM on Sunday
Howard: lighter green eh - hehe - coincidences are funny things
sorry- phone call was longer than I thought
me: is ok no problem

continuation of the chat:

Quote:

are you sure it is a coincidence?
Sent at 10:31 PM on Sunday
me: the guy with the name of Dr Geraint Clyme who has been sending mail from your mail account is an anagram for Gerald McIntyre ring a bell?
Sent at 10:33 PM on Sunday
Dr Geraint.. that means... but...
He resigned. Yesterday. No-one had seen him for a few days - he just emailed his resignation to BM HQ and they accepted it.
Has left my department i a bit of state - but given me a bit of space as I think it was him who had the watchers on me..
Sent at 10:47 PM on Sunday
me: he is the one that made us believe there was some sort of investigation going on...
urged us not to contact you..
Howard: mmm...
I need to think about this - I may be back on later - for now, my thanks. I'll email the rhyme shortly
bye for now./
me: I wll be going to bed shortly, have a good night...
looking forward to the rhyme..

poem's been sent

Quote:
When Autumn is balanced and the sun leaves the trees
The ladies underneath sign their names off in threes
One who is crowned in gold and horn
Meets another who bore he crown-ed in thorn
Young salmon dance in the river strong
Dee's churchyard: the arch: at horzion long...

Howard.

FYI, the subject of the email containing the poem was "Tīw's Locus".

Locus = Latin for location/place

Tiw's probably refers to Tiw's Day, which is where Tuesday comes from.

In other words, the poem contains Tuesday's location, i.e. where to meet on Tuesday.

According to the convo that draghkar had, the time of the meeting is sunset. This website says that sunset in London on Tuesday will be at 9:21PM.

Just jumping in here.

The poem seems to be a further clue to the location mentioned before.
Earlier in the thread booba linked to St. Mary the Virgin's Church where Dee is supposedly buried in the churchyard. This is Dee's churchyard?
She who bore "he crowned in thorn" would be Mary, the mother of Jesus, made to wear a crown of thorns.
Since this is a church, I took the women signing their names off in threes as a reference to the three biblical Marys (Maries). However, I'm not sure this can apply to the 3 following sentences, as Mary the mother of Jesus is not considered one of those three.

Don't know if it narrows things down, as almost any church has some type of arch.

This might help:

Quote:
Mortlake appears in Domesday Book of 1086 as Mortelage.......Mortelage is thought to mean a small stream containing young salmon, referring to a fishery in the area on a former tributary of the River Thames which is now gone.
