the screen cap looks like a negative of the bench swing. I also highly suspect some people are dead. "so much more than time has been lost" is serious. I think I'm going to look back at all the TTA videos to see if I can recognize anything else that might belong to Alex or his house or even Brian's house where he stayed. It just feels like we missed something...

Even if they aren't identical, the bench in 'Memories' is probably intended to hearken back to that infamous porch furnishing in Entry 1.

I thought the Operator symbol over the starry-eyed decapitated head was interesting, but I couldn't guess at its metaphorical significance. Reminded me of a Lisa Frank design from Hell.

Actually, maybe I can throw in an uninformed interpretation of the imagery- the other thing that people seem to lose lots of in this series besides time (usually measured in increments of sleepless nights spent with the lights on) is memories. Maybe Jay (and TTA?) forgot some important little morsel of information conveniently preserved in a tape somewhere.

On that note, I'll think I'll make a pillow fort, blanket tent or some other structure clearly impenetrable by the forces of evil.

I looked back at TTA videos for "season 2" and they all have to do with Alex. His face in pieces is the first TTA video back that says "hello again". We get Alex's voicemail, and now the very same angle of the infamous first video of Alex's place???? This is crazy! What is TTA trying to tell us about Alex? "he lies"??? and then the whole happy birthday Alex video... I want answers.

I quite like that theory. The 'so much more' in the video makes whatever else that's been lost sound far more important. And to some people, memories would be more important (especially in this, given that they're kinda important to figuring things out...^.^)

While the face does bear a resemblance to skully, it also reminds me of the hooded and masked figure in entry 41.

There's been a subtle switch in style for the past three TTA entries that I'm pretty sure is deliberate.

The text in these videos is in a VHS-style font rather than the more standard computer fonts or handwritten text found in earlier TTA videos. None of the three of them include stock footage or sound as far as I can tell. Unless I've missed something, they're all shot in black and white, without color at all. And they seem much more direct than other videos, the intended messages being clear and up front, use of sentences rather than disjointed phrases and fragments...

Some wild speculation:
-The messages are clearer because the situation, at least in TTA's mind, has become much more urgent.
-I don't know a lot about video so I could be completely wrong, but it's possible this video was shot using different materials: it almost seems like instead of being something whipped up in Windows Movie Maker or whatever grownups use in its place, it was filmed on an analog tape and spliced together.
-Even more wildly, following from the above: TTA is unable to access the usual resources because something terrible has happened and is actually splicing together analog film (but how is it getting online from there?).
-Even MORE wildly, this a different TTA.

So I pretty much agree with the "TTA is pissed that Jay is taking so long thing," and, if this is true, TTA seems to be a good guy. (Just a creepy good guy, like a guy that has a van that says free candy and actually gives you candy) The thing that really bothers me is the consistency of TTA recently. He's always used different codes in the description but the last, I think 5 posts, have been in base 64. The quality of the video seems to also very similar, using black and white combined with drawings in choppy video.

At at the point of the words ''SO MUCH MORE THAN TIME HAS BEEN TAKEN'' appearing on screen an Operator symbol appears over the face. It reminds me of the time in enttry #37 where the Operator symbol appears over a young Alex's face.

Maybe it means that Alex has been taken?

That face with the Op over it. I think if you're comparing it to see if it looks like Skullface or trying to figure out what stars as eyes represents, you may be approaching too symbolically. Not everything totheark shows is a code. I think it should be interpreted more artistically, like a cartoon. I think it's way more simple that you might think.

I think the face looked silly and foolish. My interpretation is that totheark is calling Alex or Jay a fool.

My take on the Operator symbol (hoo, boy) is that it's the Operator's mark. Someone is marked. Alex was drawing marks all over his room, Operator stalked him there. There was a mark in Entry #13, the Operator was there. There was a mark in The House, although warping may have complicated things, but Jay saw it and later ran into the Operator. Alex was marked as a child in enttry #37, although I suspect that video may not be genuine.

As far as stars on his eyes, they remind me of Alex's glasses. So my first impression as to what the face means is "Alex is a fool and he is marked."

Sorry, that's I could get out of this screwy video. I hope you guys appreciate it. Maybe you guys can tell what the other stuff in the video is.
