People in the UK are getting them now??? Waaaaah. I hope I didn't mark something wrong on the website.

If you're worried, you can always log back into the site and check your info. I know I did. If you go to TSN dot com, log in with the link in the top right corner, and then click on your username in the top right of the page, it'll pull up your registration info.

If you're not worried, pretend this post invisible.

OHHH VEEEERRRY HELPFUL.... I can tell that 5-gum is going to do loads of these stupid things.

And yes, I think 5-gum at least sponsors it.
Maybe they got help from 42e?

Maybe it has no sponsor, and whoever made it is doing all this to confuse us....

also, you may find this interesting. the very bottom line of the TSN site has what I think is a hint. I can just make it out.

"...will afford you the opportunity to open all doors and unexplored facilities in our realm of understanding. When the counter above hits zero, the time will come for you to volunteer your services to the human preservation project.

Test subjects needed now, you're needed now...."

WOAH

I think the "gum" thing may have been coincidence. The person who tried that said (I think) that whatever else they came up with was gibberish, and "gum" was the only seemingly-relevant word to pop up. Since it's only three letters, it may have been coincidence- you get similar results when cycling through cyphers.

Personally I'm hoping that 5gum is sponsoring it, but the ARG itself is a tie-in to a movie or game. Still hopelessly holding out for Batman or something. Razz

Also, awesome pics. I have to say I'm crazy jealous of your dual colored LED. XD

wrigleys is so in on this. I sent a message about why the 5 react website did not work in any language, and they denied its existence:

Dear Mr. Hill,

Thank you for contacting the Wrigley Company to request information. We are always happy to hear from our consumers and will be happy to answer your question.

In response to your request, the website for 5 gum is:

www.wrigley.com/global/brands/5-gum.aspx.

There is no separate website for 5 React Gum.

We thank you once again for taking time to contact us.

Sincerely,

Sandy Barnes

I dunno...the icefly/wasp thing seems a little obvious, and I doubt 42e would go along with it. I don't see Wrigley sponsoring a Halo game, especially when the game's just changed studios.

Edit: As for Batman, if we were to speculate in that direction, what would the HPP represent in the world of the Dark Knight? Could it be a reference to the super soldier type character they've created of Bane?

And isn't there another game for Chris Nolan's new film??

Welcome to the herd! (Oh, sorry, wrong website.) No one can guarantee that you'll get your chrome/black package swag, at least not before the thirtieth when the countdown runs out. No one's gotten a fancy ID badge though, so you might get that at the same time as everyone else, assuming you made one on the website. Smile

As of yesterday, I haven't gotten a package yet. But I had to leave town (I left instructions to CALL ME IMMEDIATELY if a bubble envelope turned up, lol).

Offhand, I don't know of any movie/game with a related concept... I try to keep up with movies in production, but who knows. If I have time to kill I may look into it. I initially thought of Oblivion, but it seems too early for that.

Had a few minutes I had to slaughter indiscriminately, so I typed up the entirety of the splash page text Razz In case there was anything interesting, and in case no one else wanted to give themselves eye strain.Fun cross between imitation legalese and a college paper you'd write when you hadn't read the book... using a spoiler cut because it's a huge block of text.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
These are not conventional experiments. Qualified test subjects volunteering their person for sensory based research will undergo enhanced amplifications as sensory reliant human beings. The outcomes of these experiments will provide experiential data on the effects of said studies on the body and mind of test subjects: the very finest and most rigorously obtained data from healthy test subjects chosen for their special capacity for excelling in said experiments. The specific nature and details of these activities will remain strictly verboten to test subjects excerpt at times when it becomes explicitly and unequivocally necessary, such as when the test subject is close to imminent transformational occurrences. Those involved will show an extraordinary commitment, cooperation and discretion in conducting these unconventional experiments, with a peculiar yet outstanding dedication that sets them apart. Following all instruction when and where given throughout the course of this series of experiments will afford test subjects opportunity to open and expand their sensorial faculties and ensure safety during the complete overhaul of their sensory capacities and capabilities. Test subject senses may not function as they are commonly understood to, and therefore may result in accelerated stimulation during, throughout, and indeed long after the conclusion of these unconventional experiments. Please remember that those with advanced understanding of the flexibility with regards to common laws of physics (E.G. gravity, inertia) are kindly asked to refrain fro participating in the unconventional experiment. Necessary parties, such as authorized test subject researchers, scientists, biologists, audiologists, optometrists, or test subjects, anthropologists, on an ad-hoc basis. Also note that we guarantee that no warranties or assurances are or will be provided to test subjects regarding the sensory capacities of any individual qualified as a test subjects, and any association test subjects may find between their experiences during these experiments and such phenomena as: heightened consciousness, sensory euphoria, ambidexterity, reverse color blindness, auditory night visions, tactile revelations, olfactory enlightenment or hair growth are completely coincidental. Adhering to all instructions when and where given throughout the course of this series of experiments will afford you the opportunity to open all doors and unexplored facilities in your realm of understanding. When the counter above hits zero the time will come for you to volunteer your services to the Human Preservation Project. Test subjects are needed now. You are needed now.

Yeah, I really doubt it's Dark Knight or Arkham related, but it's fun to speculate for the hell of it. I'm really digging the connection to Bane, for example. XD

Nice job, ADarkly! I tried reading it when I first found the page, but the technical jargon made me zone out fast. It makes for a very interesting perusal, though.
