Had a random thought in the shower this morning.

In "Introduction", J mentions that he asked Alex what he planned to do with the videos, and the response was "burn them".

Now, you can buy Marble Hornets season 1 on DVD. He burned them onto discs.

Just sayin'.

I just randomly thought of this. It's from Tim's Let's Play of Half Life 2 (Freeman Fridays).

TROY: There has to be a good reason to sing What What in the Butt. I think when we meet up with Alyx.

TIM: [laughs] .....I really hope you were talking about Marble Hornets and not Half Life 2.

This was done on Concrete Giraffes, but it's still funny.

Man, I was just looking through the Windmill Diaries Thread and laughed my head off all over again. Good times.

The Official Operator Nickname List
because they show we care <3

So, we as a fandom tend to come up with cute little nicknames for some of the Marble Hornets characters - Masky, ToThePark, Hoody, ("Skully"), etc.

But by far the best are used in reference to our main antagonist. I've been meaning to compile a list of all the different names and phrases we've used for him here in the forum. Here's a small list to start. Please add if you know more! Smile

the Operator
(the) Slenderman (Slender Man)
Slendy
our tall, slender friend
our malnourished friend
the slender one
the tall, thin one
Slenderp
anorexic amigo

*Editing to add:
Slenderfriend
Slenderbob Tallpants (Can't believe I forgot this one!)
S-man
(ol') Jack Skellington
the tall dude
Tall, Pale and Faceless
(Mr.) Tall, Dark and Faceless
El Hombre Alto
That One Big Tall Guy
The Amazing Mr. Tentacle
Cap'n Slim'n Trim
O man
Mr. Mouthless
our Slender friend
Slender Boss
Big O

Sorry I didn't take note of who said what in order to give credit. If one of them is yours in particular, then do claim it!

Personally, I tend to use either the Operator or Slendy.
New nickname favorites: "El Hombre Alto" and "Cap'n Slim'n Trim." Fabulous! XD

How about you guys? Which is your favorite and which do you use the most?

I might start referring to him as Jack Skellington.

How about S-Man
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
He's obviously G-Man from Half-Life but had his face removed to avoid copyright issues Wink

Hey, shouldn't it be Tall, *Pale* and Faceless? Razz

Omg, how did I forget Slenderbob Tallpants??

Also, Freya - are "that skinny bald dude" and "Mr. Tentacle" ones you've used or seen used in forum discussions? I'm gonna try to keep the list authentic, as awesome as Randoman's list is. Smile
