also, could this "backwards speak" by theoccultist go so far as to even have the labels given to the audio/pictures backwards? like OA = AO? that would be a pain Crying or Very sad

I totally forgot about any group password access, thanks for the reminder. (I'll have to wait until after work to give it another try)

My thoughts on the "O A - -" were related to the pairings. At first I thought it was another fill-in-the-blank (like we'd turn it into OATH), but now I think it's a start of the trail we're to follow. This is the only picture with letters which match an audio file name, and it just happens to be the first one in the audio sequence we now have. First comes OA then LO then... unless it's a different kind of hint to pair audio with visual, and we're given the first pair as OA+UH to fill in the blanks.

I made my own list of relations between audio files and images. I decided to try and relate just the images, without the titles of the pictures completely swaying my decisions. First I'll post the audio line (in the order we believe to be correct) then the Pic I believe is related and then I'll write why I think they're related.

**Note: Alot of these are the same as Catherwood's previous post but on here I wanted to clarify reasons for why theyre similar. There are only two instances where I believe could be different from the picture Cather had chosen, and I marked those instances for easier reference.

I also added the switch that was suggested by Randomguy, regarding WB and VR.

PIC:KX - Pic of a giant fire, otherwise known as a "terrible catastrophe".

AUDIO:S3 – "and from Ammit's own belly the shadows were loosed to swarm the earth"
PIC:26** - Pic of Monsters below the belly of a woman.
** - Cather's choice was "EN"

AUDIO:YF – "where they feasted on the misery of man"
PIC:ZS - Pic of a titan feasting on his son.

AUDIO:QA – "until centuries later, a man though still alive"
PIC:QH - Pic of Dante, a Man. Who's alive. Well, was.

AUDIO:N7 - "walked through hell, where he saw many terrible things"
PIC:48 - Dante/Virgil walking through hell, witnessing horrible sights.

AUDIO:13 – "and when eavesdropping, overheard the true sacred name of the shadows"
PIC:W6 - Pic of a man hiding behind a tree eavesdropping on a witch performing some sort of ritual.

AUDIO:BD – "knowing the name's worth, he hid it in a single copy of his book"
PIC:PO - Pic of a man crouched over a book. (only pic that involves a book)

AUDIO:ZR – "to be spoken of only by those worthy to find it"
PIC:SP - Pic of (templars?), ie. Worthy Men, knights.

AUDIO:M3 – "giving them power to bind shadows to their world to make them as slaves"
PIC:VR** - Pic showing a black angel in bindings, as if it were captured.
** - suggested by Randomguy

AUDIO:OU – "this gave birth to an order"
PIC:CK - Pic of the Sigil with the name "UMBRA", which we later found out is the groups name, "Order of Umbra".

AUDIO:DR – "who tried to dominate the shadows by force"
PIC:WB** - Pic of an angel standing on a demon/shadow trying to get out of hell, clearly shows "domination by force".

AUDIO:6T – "but the shadows grew stronger and stronger, becoming like evil gods themselves"
PIC:EN** - Pic of a giant shadow type creature with horns hiding behind trees. I drew the relation from the size of the shadow, and the line "shadows grew"
** - This one was iffy. Catherwood had 26 listed for this.

Leftover Pic: GY (With the Enochian symbols that translate to "FIRST PERSON SINGULAR" which is assumed to be the letter "I".)


I wrote this to make it easier for people to see the basis for relations between audio and pictures. If any of these seem to be off feel free to say so, some were harder than others to make a relation to so any info as to why one pic should be a better fit will only help all of us.


Also, another direct-tweet from Sam regarding the Tyler situation. I had asked if it were possible that Tyler summoned something at the Cobb Estate, just messing around not realizing the consequences (like Lukas did).

thank you. This is exactly the kind of itemized detail I wanted to put on the wikidot (and may do tonight, if no one else takes the initiated initiative* to get it started first)

A few thoughts on the ones I quoted above -- I appreciate that you used the image content alone, it helps confirm that there is an innate logic in the pairings, and I fell back on the titles of the originals where it might help with ambiguity:

S3+EN -- "the shadows were loosed" + "Calling Shapes and Beckoning Shadows Dire" -- a tough call, as "belly" isn't in any title to help, but I can see the alternate logic.

ZR+SP -- fyi, the image shows Sir Galahad and a vision of the Holy Grail, and the legend says that the knights with him could not see it, because only he was worthy.

M3+VR -- "power to bind shadows" + "Soul in Bondage" -- binding the evil shadows vs. binding a good soul, another tough call, but our image was altered to make it a bound Shadow

DR+WB -- another one where Randomguy won me over, the Archangel Michael dominating the forces of evil (maybe Satan himself, in our image altered to become a Shadow)

6T+EN -- "the shadows grew stronger, becoming evil gods" + "Satan, Sin and Death" -- frankly, at this point I had used up all of the other images, and this left only the one good fit.

The unmatched image GY is from Gustave Dore's "Inferno Canto 1 line 1-2" -- the beginning of Dante's journey, and our own?

Ah then that makes it a perfect fit. Multiple reasons seems to solidify the connection.

Yeah same here, when I first saw it, without looking at the title I thought of a giant shadow, and the horns made me think of the devil, or a god so with the line "Shadows grew.. becoming like evil gods.." I figured it fit well with just the image.

The questions that remain are;

1) What do we do with these now, assuming we have have the correct order of the audio and images?

2) Are the hints and phrases hidden within alot of the images supposed to help us find the relation between audio/image, or are they something else?

3) "Who + Key". Last PW we had, the Username was the solve of the page given (iamthegrandsummoner). The password was related to a seperate video that theoccultist released. This time, I'm guessing the "Who" is an actual persons name? and the "Key" might be the solve of the order of Audio/Images? including letters and numbers, when put together, the audio+images' labels have a total of 70 characters (55 Letters, 15 Numbers).

Sidenote: Just to make it as accurate as possible, I didn't check the relation list that Catherwood had created, until AFTER I created my list. It turns out our lists were almost exactly the same, which was significant to me because we used somewhat different methods in coming to our conclusions.

After seeing the order you and Catherwood came up with, I thought maybe the two symbols were perhaps equal signs (==). Since The Occultist does everything backwards, meaning we would start at last image, work backwards, and ending with the two symbols, could point to the resulting string as Base64. So far that hasn't worked out, but I'm still not sure what we're suppose to do with the images that have no changes.

Also in image 26.jpg, I believe the "y- dei malefici", is telling us we're looking for the word "axis", as in "axis of evil". That could also be "asse", which
Google tells me, is Italian for axis. Anyways, maybe this will spark some ideas to get this thing solved.

I sent Lukas another email hoping he could give us more information about his research. He did find one reference that "The Order" was founded by the author Dante.

 		well, that ties in with what I'm parsing out of the audio story: Dante learns "the true sacred name of The Shadows" and hides it inside his book "Inferno", and if we are worthy we can find it (The Order already has it)

Just point me to a specific Canto and I'll read it (not out loud, of course)

Important Update: Just got a reply back from Lukas responding to my email about the new puzzle, and if it was him being followed in the wollofot.mov video in the dark alley that occultist posted recently. Here is his response, which seems to contain multiple clues about our new puzzles.

Just as Randomguy pointed out in a previous post. I believe this was to indicate one picture will not have a corresponding audio file.

If that isn't a neon sign that the "QH" Dante Picture is the picture that shouldn't have a corresponding audio file, I don't know what is.

This changes things a bit. Going to go rearrange some stuff. Let me know what you guys think.

EDIT: Just noticed another possible hint:

I think this confirms the relation between the "CE" Audio file that says "and channeling the great magnet of tremendous evil force" with the image "OY", which was the pic of suicide bridge.

Possibly a further hint that Dante is in fact the username (who) for our log-in. I believe the images contain the password only.
I considered base64 for the characters too, but as it is there is no way to distinguish capitals from lowercase.
EDIT: OKAY. Just saw Silcky's edit.
The image of Dante implies that he is the password. If he is not included in the encoded images perhaps GY can take its place of being paired with QA? I believe it is an image of Dante in the dark wood.

 		I realized a bit ago that the Dante picture really stood out on the page with the frame, so I think you guys are correct about the username. There has also been a slight update on the login page, instead of Who + Key it now says Who + Key(17char). Still not sure what to do with the images that don't appear to contain any added content, or image 26 with y- dei malefici, or image WB with the beltline dashes. And should we use the numbers or convert to letters. Dunno

gahrr! They're beating us with a clue stick! I really didn't need that additional hint, having *just* read the Lukas email, we were on the verge of trying the 17-unit string as the password with Dante as the username. (I like swapping the images, gets the one without an added letter out of the sequence and puts one with a letter in, i like it, wish we had thought of that ourselves)

new thought: perhaps the images without a hidden alteration represent the digit 0?

just grrrrumble, i havent had my morning coffee yet. Going to watch the latest video now... whoops! no new video, just a new post by Lukas (in the comments on Carol's site) where he links to the video as if the others didn't know about it? Oh, and also to remind people about his email address.

META: (I'm thinking the PMs are trying to drag more people into this game. I haven't seen any other forum discussing it, and the few others following the main twitter account seem to think they are a real paranormal investigation team. *sigh*)
