So just a ref, I added Tsilon as a friend on FB, mentioning that I was rewarded the iTunes gift, and received this response message:
Quote:
library.SAPIEN
print('Exemplary parsing success')[my name]

--with my name of course, in caps like SAPIEN. Not sure if that's just a "good work" reply, if everyone gets some sort of 'welcome' message, or if there is/will be significance to that...

There are jellyfish in Cosmic Cove Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2. The asterisks probably form a date. Any idea what the DT could mean?

Well, if it were a date, how about just that: "DaTe?"
However, if it were a date, what's with the parentheses and pluses?

I would guess that (*++) is using a common programming shortcut as a way of incrementing. For example, 1++ = 2.

Hey guys, just got done reading over the thread. The gist of this is that you decipher the clues to reveal the *s, which you then put into the above codes and redeem them for PSN, Xbox, etc. points, right?

Edit: Some thoughts on the latest one:
**** - 95BE - *G**
*.G. | NEW HARDWARE FOUND('MemorialUnit')
UPDATE: ***Characterskin.app - "MEET THE HAT"
REGION SCAN // MEX.immersion ***

The first line could be E.G. for epic games, who are releasing a collectors edition 360 with GOW3.

The second line could read UPDATE: TF2Characterskin.app, since TF2 is known for its hats.

Mex.immersion *** could be COJ for Call of Juarez, since the upcoming one is set in mexico.

ETF2 - 95BE - CGOJ is the code that gives, which fits the PSN format but it's not working.

Went to check for new posts today (and there weren't any), and found that Tsilon spent the night "liking" things. In addition to the various game consoles, "she" now "likes" Electronic Arts and Insomniac Games. Perhaps we have a hint at the sponsor behind all of this?

It's not just those two; Tsilon liked Epic Games, Bungie, Ubisoft, and several other major publishing companies.

Couple new posts. Nothing dated today, but stuff for the previous two days.

6/24/11
XXBC2Y9X4***T**C
*BO*_**.LOG -> MK:SM INCOMPATIBLE!!
*M* UPDATE // SECTOR RB - CLASS GRYBO
D.C. SURGE==*** SIEGE COUNTERMEASURE

6/25/11
3675 80*7 *2** **52
FIND // OPTION=IE.YUFF_YR.*6
COPY // HALO * : S.COOPER * : SSF*A
LOAD // FIREANDBRIMSTONE_01.LTLVL | | S_FLESHCHILDGM_**.LTLVL

Don't have much of a clue on these.

MK:SM is probably Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks; the code is Xbox_BC (backwards compatability), however see my note below.

The second line refers to Rock Band, GRYBO is the order of the colored fret buttons (Green Red Yellow Blue Orange). The code is probably HMS, Harmonix Music Systems is the company that makes RB.

The third line has me stumped; my gut says it's related to comics but DC isn't usually abbreviated D.C. Direct Current Surge makes me think maybe it's related to InFamous (2?) but that's as close as I can get.

Regardless of the above, this code is odd since there are more *s in the message than in the code above. If everything else I've deduced is correct, then the first 4 code letters are already inserted and shouldn't be marked as variables at all. I've messaged Tsilon on facebook about this, I'll see if she replies.

Also, in the source code there's an interesting tag. The last line looks like this:
D.C. SURGE==*** <home>SIEGE COUNTERMEASURE
Does that mean anything?

Don't have much of a clue on these.

This one's even more puzzling. The first line might refer to Internet Explorer, which had version released in 96 and 06, but that's a stretch. I have no idea what YUFF is referring to; googling gives me hits for TUFF and YIFF (*shudder*) but little else; it might refer to Yuffie from FF7 who was 16 years old in FF7.

The second line is pretty easy; Halo 4, Sly Cooper 4 and Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade are all coming soon.

The last line...no idea. There's a game that came out in 1990 called Fire and Brimstone, but I can't find any details on it. F&B was also a level in an old game called Blood, but I can't find any hits for Flesh Child or anything on it's wiki. Maybe something out of Dante's Inferno? Or hell, Doom? Bleh.
Quote:
ASSESS // *STONE - *SAGE - 1SWORD - CORESERIES_VERSION.*
I figured this line out from a few days ago. There are 3 stones and 7 sages in tLoZ:Ocarina of Time (plus the 1 sword implies the master sword), which is the 5th in the core series. The rest of that clue still has me lost.

Is anyone besides duke and I actually working on these?

Sry guys. As you could see, I worked on the codes for a few days and I was very excited. Then I got bored of endless googling, found Testsubjectsneeded.com/Mission Icefly ARG, I even received postal mail from it in Hungary, and what's more, I cannot use any of these codes here. So I won't be active here very much.

Good luck with the rest!

Ok, its been years since I've used a forum, but I saw that you all are working on the same thing I am, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I've solved a bunch of these codes and I've been stuck on the past few.
I see you've already started on this batch, and your ideas are pretty much the same as mine. The third line in the 6/25 wii code(16 digits, 3675 at the beginning of every code so far) is more than likely talking about Super Meat Boy (S_FLESHCHILDGM_) there's over 350 levels and that doesn't fit, and I've read that its 7 chapters plus Teh Internets/Super Meat World, but I can't think of anything else that it could relate to.
The next code is for itunes (no spaces, xxbc at the beginning of every code so far). I'm stuck at the same place here. I've platinumed inFamous 2 and I can't think of anything that could fit.

Good call on Super Meat Boy; there are two levels that start with GM: Grey Matter which (according to [url=http://www.gamefaqs.com/xbox360/990836-super-meat-boy/faqs/61596]this gamefaqs post[/url) is level 2-12X, Grinding Mill which is level 5-10. Neither of those are two-digit to fit in the two variable spots, however. And I'm still not sure on the Yuff line.

yuff probably refers to yuffie being 16. I've been wrong a few times though.

I also don't have a wii to test it on, unfortunately.

Nor do I, but I have a 3DS which, rather than give you an "Error Code Invalid" message will tell you that this is a Wii card and not a 3ds card.

There are a couple new codes up now:

Quote:
06/28/2011
77117*4117*1117*811***11
SCAN..
LOAD..
EXECUTE_COMMAND.compile

06/27/2011
*T** - **** - *TTC
***==APPno.01:*HANE_drell
S**2*: OVERALLSORIGIN_LOSTTALES/EXPANSION
*NAMAGEMNAMYTIVARG

06/26/2011
K**X* - 8P3*M - *8*TM - 72R*Q - *9T*W
SHARP *EY==**:ANIMATE FANTASY
CODE PROMPT // Alter_grav.*V_**_VV - TEST physics program
RUN_(SHELL/2)'clock | L*1.M*2.*P3.RP4

Also on Tsilon's facebook page, she's posted the following as 3 separate posts (each line being one post):
Quote:
77117*4117*1117*811***11
CODE.compile//INCOMPLETE! ('Further data assess');
p6*8*1f*7*1

And these were posted on twitter, also each as it's own line:
Quote:
77117*4117*1117*811***11
ERROR // buffering
ASSET.compile_render
p6*8*1
SOLVE//SMBltlvl.61 total_sum
@iRobotZombie \/\//|/\||\.//224
***MASK.Immersion
D+D.==*.G..|
SYSTEM.REST

Here's what I've got so far:

SHARP *EY==**:ANIMATE FANTASY
My guess here is a Kingdom Hearts reference; Sharp Key = KH:Animate Fantasy.

CODE PROMPT // Alter_grav.*V_**_VV - TEST physics program
No idea here yet, sorry.

RUN_(SHELL/2)'clock | L*1.M*2.*P3.RP4
This is pointing at TMNT (half shell), thus the third variable is a D for Donatello. I'm not sure what the second letters refer to; maybe something to do with time because of the 'clock.

***==APPno.01:*HANE_drell
Thane Krios is a drell assassin from Mass Effect 2, making the first variables either ME2 or ME3 (since he is slated to return in some fashion).

S**2*: OVERALLSORIGIN_LOSTTALES/EXPANSION
This looks like a mario reference, given the overalls clue; SMB2* is my best guess so far, but what the * could mean i don't know.

*NAMAGEMNAMYTIVARG
The variable is a 5, if read backwards the code says Gravity Man Mega Man *.

The most recent code I have no clue, even with all the FB/Twitter posts.

WHOA!
Whole crapload of stuff just showed up!

Darn it! someone posted before I did! Well, I'm not deleting something it took me 10 minutes (exaggeration. most likely) to transcribe.

Ok, there was a lot of stuff today, so I'll start with the posts on the website. There were three, catching it back up to today.

6/26/11
K**X* - 8P3*M - *8*TM - 72R*Q - *9T*W
SHARP *EY==**:ANIMATE FANTASY
CODE PROMPT // ALTER_GRAV.*V_**_VV - TEST PHYSICS PROGRAM
RUN_(SHELL/2)'CLOCK | L*1.M*2.*P3.RP4

6/27/11
*T** - **** - *TTC
***==APPNO.01:*HANE_DRELL
S**2*: OVERALLSORIGIN_LOSTTALES/EXPANSION
*NAMAGEMNAMYTIVARG

6/28/11
77117*4117*1117*811***11
SCAN..
LOAD..
EXECUTE_COMMAND.COMPILE

This last one was strange, doesn't look like a code, really.
No ideas on the other two.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Next, we have the Twitter feed (each line is a new post):

77117*4117*1117*811***11

ERROR // buffering

ASSET.compile_render

p6*8*1

SOLVE//SMBltlvl.61 total_sum

@iRobotZombie \/\//|/\||\.//224

***MASK.Immersion

D+D.==*.G..|

SYSTEM.REST
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, not really sure what any of those mean. Perhaps hinting (vaguely) at some explanation or solution for the number of asterisks problem we've had with some of these?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last, the Facebook feed:

77117*4117*1117*811***11

CODE.compile//INCOMPLETE! ('Further data assess');

p6*8*1f*7*1
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One of those is the "code" from today, and the last one is a longer version of one of the Twitter posts.

Any ideas, guys?
