If he didn't have the box, why was the point of him saying he did? Habit wouldn't have believed him.

Well, if HABIT is one of the boys he would have known that he didn't really have a box. However, if HABIT is not one of the boys he could have mistakenly fallen for FRA's ploy only to find out later that there was no box.

What if HABIT wasn't trolling? What if HABIT didn't know the truth until he took the roommate?

@JustAQ: But, HABIT sends the boxes. If he didn't send the box how would he not know he didn't send the box? HABIT sends the box so he would know if he sent the box.

Unless they're not always/consciously HABIT. I was always under the impression, judging by the way Evan can be completely normal one moment and just a bit gone the next, that ti's not a continuous thing with HABIT. But... yanno, I know not everyone buys into the Evan=InHABITed theory.
