Finally Key 4 is posted on the APC blog. It's an anagram. Got lucky again Googling & the clues lead to a website with a photo.

I also finally got a response from Emma that suggestive compositions are fine, but no body parts. No confirmation on the assignment being received though.

Hi JustAQ! Felt yesterday when reading your post that we could quite rightly use some news. So I asked when sending the archive photo. HTH

Amandel! The archive will be updated right away.
We at the APC are simply relaying clues left behind by Frank or sent to us by Frank. We have heard nothing new until this most recent clue. He tells us what to post on the blog, what to post on the website, and what to tweet. None of us has any idea where this is headed, but are intrigued enough to humor him for now.
Anna Wade has gotten a recent tip as to Friank's whereabouts and will be driving out the the reservation today to see Frank's cousin.
ETA: The new Archive entry is called "Entry #7 = Claim to Fame".

Interesting. I'm glad to see that they're finally answering e-mails again. I just got my confirmation of the second entry being received and a message saying they are still evaluating assignment 1. Also an apology for the delay that was, as I had suspected, because of finals.
I'm so glad the game isn't dead.

Just received the following:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Dear APC Members,
This is the PM writing to sincerely apologize for the fact that the game has stalled. I want to reassure you that the game is not dead and give you some kind of explanation. I have played games that have died or stalled and I know how much it sucks.
I have been recently blindsided by a health crisis that I am still grappling with. Luckily, it is nothing terminal and it can be managed, but I have been in a physical and emotional tailspin for weeks.
I've also been dealing with practical issues, such as a student who dropped out of the project, a sick laptop, and a summer course that I wasn't expecting to be teaching.
As professor I hate it when my students make excuses. However, I hope you will be understanding when I say that this game is very important to me. I put a great deal of time and effort into writing the story and designing how the game will unfold, and I plan to move forward in a way that I hope will give the players a satisfying game-playing experience.
I want to thank this amazing player base. It's been a pleasure playing with such a creative, interesting, and intelligent group of people and I look forward to more.
Sincerely,
The PM of the APC

Thanks for posting that, willowrain. News is Anna has an intriguing Blog update, Just AQ's intimate and wonderful photos are reviewed and...
"Fade Clinic I" is written on the Home page which in conjunction with the 1863 date and claim to fame hint is likely an anagram for the Archive #7 solve.
Above is just my surmising and summarizing a little b/c it's nice that this will continue. Will try to be patient & with nothing but rain here have hardly taken any summer photos.

I was actually just wondering if I should send an e-mail to ask. I'm really glad that the game isn't dead and I actually noticed that my photos were reviewed the day they were and I didn't want to post my own joy *sheepish*.
Anyway, very interesting entry. I wonder who the mysterious Dr. M is.

Haven't gotten them all & wasn't sure they were anagrams til line #3 danced before my tired eyes. (happy dance here) Not spoilering b/c the others are open to tinkering by y'all:
Quote:
Remove nth tooth=Move to the North
Ten vote lamb totem=Battle moment veto
Orb tree eel=Robert E. Lee
ETA: Saw your comment, JustAQ 'tho "Final Jury Day I" may be Fair Day In July which along with 1863 means these also pertain to the battle at Gettysburg.

As a note, there is also a new crossword on the journal. I wonder if these are the clues?

A shoo-in if someone is also busy with "Dog-eared gnome ogre". It anagrams to George Gordon Meade , Commander of the Union Forces at Gettysburg. "Fade Clinic I" is tough.
Got one useful anagram, Find Cecilia , that led me to Cecilia Lee Love, a cousin of Gen. Lee & wife of Lewis Addison Armistead who was mortally wounded at Gettysburg. Maybe?
Then Emma Reed in an email wrote:
Thanks for the info, but it's not the correct picture for Archive #7. More clues to the crossword are forthcoming, and solving all of the anagrams will make things more clear.
Not sure why Frank is being so obscure, but I'm sure he has his reasons. We are humoring him for the time being.
ETA: New email saying "Please see attached." which b/c it's so purty have for all. vomg @ROT12="Hays". Maybe a General Alexander Hays reffy who was at Gettysburg?

Oooo, I got a different picture.
I'm guessing these are crossword clues. I hope everyone is still playing, because if I got a different picture, we might all be getting different ones.

I received "two" in an email.

I haven't the slightest clue about the anagrams. I'm great at crosswords, but horrible at anagrams. Good job Amadel! The last two are tricky.
I feel bad that Anna lost those negatives. Who does that lady think she is anyway?
