am i crazy or something? i've done some research through the thread, albeit minimal, but is there any story behind the trucks with the three white dots?

In the comic we noticed that it is similar to the warning symbol for radioactive material, but otherwise, no. It is one of the many loose ends; one of the many questions still left unanswered (but hopefully will be answered by the end of the game).

interesting. how about the possible person jumping out of the truck? i've re-watched it online (low-quality) and about 16:14 in is when it happens. this stood out to me HEAVILY when i caught it in theatres, notsomuch during the terrible quality cam footage.

Considering the trailer shot showed a closer look of the truck, I doubt anyone jumped out of it.

Well I'm still sticking with my theory I posted back on the 8th ... still yet to see the movie ... August 5th for us Sad ...

Quote:
2: The 3 White Dots (representing simple radiation symbols)

Reading the comic I see that the dots are already present all over the place on the retrieval ship and on the nuke heading for the Alien Craft ... but are not seen before this, during the discussion of the Operation Belt Trap mission ... So ...

I see the 3 dots representing the 3 Van-Allen belts 1,2,3 as written on the blackboard along with the 3 radiation symbols on the space map shown ...

Could be complete BS ... but it's my 2pence worth ... Wink ...

cheers,

Easter Egg

I watched the movie and chuckled at the many JJ and SS inferences. I like the lost dog poster board with the lost dog named Cooper and a LOST dog sign the the lost tv show font. Not to mention the utility truck driving in the night on the lonely road and the starry night just like a scene out of CEOTTK.
