What else IS going on?? There hasn't been a single update in, what, three months? I mean, that's fine, they have lives...but I'm not going to pretend there's stuff happening when there isn't.

I'm not sure I understand everything that has happened, nor do I really care at this point since now it has been decided he's out. I voted, and the vote stands according to this thread at him remaining in the game, so I'm not even sure why this thread exists if it wasn't going to matter in the end.

The fact that it has made it to eleven pages says a lot about how effective FRA was one way or another of getting attention in these trials, so kudos to him for making it as far as he did. I hope we can at least move onto more pressing matters once the PM's finally decide to move the story along which really hasn't happened in a long time now, and I don't count all of this as story, nor do I really count the two brief cross-overs.

I'm not complaining, I just can't wait to see how this all plays out!

Neither am I; fortunately, I don't have to. There have been videos in the last several months, and there's also been a fair amount of ARG content - emails, puzzles, etc. Steph's tumblr getting jacked by HABIT. Jeff confiding about his parents. Evan raeging out on me. Is this the Marble Hornets formula? No. Is it an ARG? Yes. You can either engage with it or not depending on your comfort level with ARG material, but MH's all-video approach is not the rule. No one was stopping anyone from getting involved. No one is today. It's at your fingertips. The trials were the least of it, frankly, at least AFAIC.

Usually Qaqa, I'm in complete agreement with you, but I have to disagree on a couple of points. First, if you weren't one of the rabbits when the trials launched, you missed out on a lot of content in this ARG.

Second, the crew is selective about who they communicate with which really isn't fair to those who want to help but then e-mail them only to end up being ignored, even if unintentionally so. (Yes, this has happened to me and yes, to a degree it bothered me; but I also can understand why my one and only e-mail to them was ignored since I was slightly confused about what I found and at the end of said e-mail mixed in OOG information about box 5)

A dry spell in an ARG is a good thing now and again, as long as the PM's aren't just stringing people along. Fortunately, I don't think they are. I think that something big is about to go down, and when the update finally does hit (in video form which is what many are waiting for), these forums will explode. Very Happy

I will disagree. One, I was never a rabbit, never in the trials. Two, I don't think they are selective. It's catch-as-catch-can. Would I have loved to hear back from Steph or Evan given the recent incidents? Yes, and I still would, but I realize I am not entitled to that just because I heard back on other things, nor is anyone else, even on directly pertinent matters - it took me a couple times to get to them regarding Vince's puking spell in the storage facility. There is no exact science or preferential treatment that I can discern. I suspect it's just a matter of what they get to in the torrent of mail in their inbox. I didn't email them once before late January, and I've been hit and miss at best since. That doesn't stop me from keeping at it, however. They didn't ignore me because I was 'new.' They got to me, eventually. I don't see any system, I see chance. And that's not about fairness or unfairness, it's about happenstance.

I was also late to the party and never a rabbit. Even if what you say is true that it's a matter of them getting to in terms of their e-mail, then they are still being selective, even if it's unintentional and/or has no reason behind it. That's why I phrased it the way I did. I don't think they ignore "new" people either, as they proved the night I found box 5, by wanting to talk with me (and of course, I went to bed an hour before).

I guess I was just making a point that for many, there weren't a lot of options if they arrived late in the ARG, and eventually for some may never come at this stage of the game. But overall, I agree that they can still try and could very well end up making a difference, even if it isn't in an obvious way.

What videos? Is there something I missed, because if you look at their channel right now, it shows the most recent video as having been posted on April 21. That's a little over two months ago.

When I say "nothing has happened in (2) months" I mean nothing has moved the story forward. I just don't count stalling for time as substance. It's a nice reminder that they're not dead, but it's not a real update. What you're calling ARG content is more like "additional, optional backstory info". All the stuff about Jeff's parents was really just an expansion on what has already been said, after all. It adds flavor, but it gives us no new information.

FRA directly interacting with HABIT (somewhat) on camera is the closest they've come to story progression since Sparky died.

I would just like to point out that this thread was made for uFers to hash out their ideas on whether or not FRA should be voted out or not. The poll here wasn't IG; HABIT emailed the other seven Rabbits and held the official vote that way.

Glad to see everybody's alive - still, the entire thing was sorta/kinda weird... looking forward to the next box.
