Teachers learn in university that you can not differentiate a kid neither positively nor negatively, because then the others will hate, mock and bully them. If fellhawke was telling the truth the ARG makers know nothing about pedagogy or handling people.

Also, if he was telling the truth (I don't have an opinion about this), then, as an ARG is carefully planned beforehand, there must be an indispensable role of a "blue package boy" who receives additional messages and information.

I'm with carnageblack and theBruce. Let him go. No one was that mean to him anyway. Asking for proof and choosing not to take him at his word given the complete lack of any doesn't constitute much. Nothing to be gained by further discussion of it, regardless of whether he was telling the truth.

SOOOOO let's plan! Planning is fun. I'm trying to get the gears grinding to make it to Orlando, though it's hard since we don't know for sure whether we're getting our info on Thursday, or the event itself is Thursday. Some of the Flynn Lives stuff was VERY short notice (like 3 hours, right? I couldn't make it into Chicago before that stuff went down); but then some of it wasn't. Theories? Plans?

If I don't have the 2+ hours I need to get to Orlando in time, I'll happily crew for whomever is our ground agent.

Anyone who played TDK, how much advance notice did 42E give you guys on that stuff?

Also, I went out four times in the pouring rain to check whether the mail had come and I still haven't gotten my envelope. *darnit*

IF long distance calling is the only problem but you live in the US, google is offering free calls through google voice in the US for this year.

I'm currently looking into the kind of permits you have to have for public events (protests, etc). If they have any significant ground presence, it might be on public record. A long shot, but a shot, perhaps? They can't do a drop like at Bonnaroo I assume, in a metropolitan area. Too much risk that wind would carry the copters into traffic etc. (Just brainstorming) The FL events weren't anything we could track down this way, but it's still worth checking I guess...
