I also have to assume that Alex approaching The Operator was deliberate. We have yet to see any evidence of The Operator being able to directly and immediately effect control over an individual, and it's not as if Alex isn't one determined, stone-cold bastard anyway. I could see him acting so shady and keeping Jay in the dark simply as a way to keep Jay involved, but at a distance, in case something were to happen to Alex.

And it seems at the moment like he was right to do so.

So I don't know if anyone here has read Ella Enchanted, but the main character in that story has to obey. She can try to fight against it, but it causes her sickness, dizziness, nausea, etc. But as soon as she gives in and obeys, she instantly feels better. Maybe it's the same way with Slendy. Like a defense mechanism so no one ever can get close enough to figure out what the hell he is. P:

Ahaha read that book.
He probably does have a very strong influence...

Or Alex was living in his apartment while Amy and Jessica were living together. It could be close by so he was always over at her place.

Possibly, but remember the entry this one refers to.
Amy says, "I didn't know we had a camera."
Alex's camera was stored back in the closet. I doubt he'd leave it there at his girlfriend's house.

Maybe he just leaves stuff at her place and vice versa. My girlfriend keeps stuff at my place all the time. She could have found the camera amongst his box of clothes/tools/what nots.

I'm not saying it's impossible for him to have lived with Amy and Jessica. I just don't understand why he would get an apartment in the same area after Amy vanished due to a slender sighting. This is the very guy who bolted town after the original stalking. If that makes any sense...

I think it can be agreed on that:

and possibly...

I thought that Alex willingly gave up control too. And i think alex is lying about having his own apartment

Not sure on that one...Tim when attacking J still succumbed to slender sickness...I mean tim could have felt bad about it and tried to resist but I don't think so...I think control is complete and total...

--Why can't Alex be trusted? Jay has been proven to be kind of a moron. If he was actively trying to seek out the Slendy, maybe he thought Jay would just slow him down/ruin whatever plan he had/he didn't want his friend to get in trouble too, in case he did.

I know it looks like it, but Alex didn't "teleport" when going into the hole. It was just really big shrubbery at the edge of the forest. You can even see the trees through the hole from the other side.

Not to mention there is no "transition" the reason it's so smooth is because it literally is all one take.

I genuinely believed it was a teleport before but I just went through it frame by frame and I agree 100%. Just another happily bizarre location in the great Marble Hornets tradition.

Because of point #2.
Not implying he's "bad". It's that the Operator obviously has heavy influence over him, especially with the ending of this entry.

Any ideas what this could possibly be? I'm currently at work at the moment so I don't have time to post my theories and such, but I can't help but think back to the most recent totheark movie with those headlights / eyes....

Discuss!

Hmm... maybe this distortion is caused by Alex... like the slendy-radiation hit him from a distance, and deflected to the camera. I don't remember if he had a specific distortion before or not, but I certainly don't remember this type of distortion happening before at all.

Indeed. Hm did we ever figure out what the letter symbolized? I mean could it be figured out now that we have this evidence?

And yeah Alex may have originally been a good guy but since he has been stalked since a very small child and since he seemingly went straight to his apparent master, it doesn't leave good chances that he's good anymore in the sense that Slendy is controlling him.

And I think it is general Slender radiation to let you know that he is close. Oh! One thing to point there was no Super 8 blip this time...which I think means that The Operator was already there and Alex met him...

Does anyone else think that the reason Alex was walking towards the Operator wasn't because Alex is controlled by him, but because he is trying to attack him or study him? The latter could explain why Alex was walking so slow. Maybe Alex was trying to get close without getting too close.

It reminds me of the corrupted footage from Entry 36.
