I donno that Alex going into the woods means he's "working" for Slendy.

Maybe I'm just a girly romantic, but I thought he was more likely going on a suicide mission, to try and rescue Amy in some way. I can see how Alex would be so sick of the nonsense and feel like he had no other options to save Amy. He seems to take a moment to gather his courage and then walks right into the woods and finds him -- probably the same woods he later leads J into and tells him that creepoz0ar Slendyesque origin story. (Which I STILL think is the point where Alex sacrifices J to Slendy in exchange for Amy and J wakes up 7 months later) He gets sick, collapses, and then gets up and tries to continue forward to fight against the dastardly Slenderman -- but only collapses again. Slendy's just too strong, and exerts his control over poor Alex.

AFTER this point, I think I can accept that Alex is not in control of himself entirely, but not necessarily before.

I am willing to entertain the idea that Alex knows but cannot help the times when Slendy exerts his control -- so it's like sitting in your car before you go into work to a job you hate -- you take some deep breaths and then trudge into the woods and clock in with the Slenderman, who works you to death. (HA!) This would mean that Alex is often Alex -- but he can't TELL J he needs help, he can only do his best to guide J in the right direction -- but J is a blonde, and can't seem to move it along fast enough -- so Alex often gets snippy and frustrated. This is perhaps plausible to me, but I'm not entirely sold on it, as I find it just as likely that Slendy minions go bat-shit crazy and don masks and get their knees broken. I also don't know that Slendy necessarily -needs- minions to get his "work" done. So I can't say I'm sold on that either.

However, I think Jessica and Amy are friends and roomates. And when Alex moved to his new apartment maybe to keep the camera out of sight and out of mind he gave his girlfriend a few boxes, which she kept in a closet, of things he couldn't fit into his new place to store for her -- since her place is bigger or something. Maybe he and she had decided to move in together and were in the process of moving his things into her and Jessica's place -- doesn't matter. Amy dug out his camera and the poo hit the fan and it's all been downhill from there.

Also I have an odd feeling that that shot of the friggin' bracelet is there JUST TO SPITE SOME PEOPLE. Because it would not surprise me if those guys lurked here to get a read on what we all think. Very Happy
