 		Dunno if this has been said before, but I have a theory.

I think by this point Alex has had enough and not easily startled by the slender events. So that would explain his placidness.

My theory is this, stop me if you've heard it before. Alex's "apartment" is the cave (if it is one) but Slendy has other plans and teleports him to his forest domain, before over taking him.

I have honestly jumped about who TTA is. I for a while thought that TiMasky and TTA were the same, but I just feel it in my bones that Brian is still so important and since Brian and Tim were friends -- I donno. There's lots of reasons, but yes I think that Brian is TTA. None of the other characters seem viable and I think it's too meta for J or Alex to be TTA AND a main character in the series. There's complex and then there's OVERLY complex. Sometimes a bracelet is just a bracelet. -- Didn't Freud say that? Wink

So YES. WE MUST BE TWINS! Shocked

Possibly, but remember the entry this one refers to.
Amy says, "I didn't know we had a camera."
Alex's camera was stored back in the closet. I doubt he'd leave it there at his girlfriend's house.


Maybe he just leaves stuff at her place and vice versa. My girlfriend keeps stuff at my place all the time. She could have found the camera amongst his box of clothes/tools/what nots.

I'm not saying it's impossible for him to have lived with Amy and Jessica. I just don't understand why he would get an apartment in the same area after Amy vanished due to a slender sighting. This is the very guy who bolted town after the original stalking. If that makes any sense...


So I didn't read twenty pages, but an idea came to me...

We never see Alex escape in Entry #26. What if that's when he came under Slendy's control, and has been reporting back to him ever since? It explains the disappearing act that he's put Jay through, why he sent him to Rosswood with no exact time, and why he went to the forest in this entry.

The coughing fits are just the initial reaction to being in the presence of the Operator and him taking control.

I have nothing to back this up, other than Alex's odd behavior and TiMasky attacking him in Entry #35. Actually the more I think about it the more this makes sense...

That could explain TiMasky's aggression towards Jay as well if he's also spending time as a proxy.

This actually paints four sort-of "factions":

1.) TiMasky, fighting against Slendy and his minions.
2.) Jay, Alex and Jessica.
3.) Slendy, as well as the Hollow versions of Jay, Alex and/or Jessica.
4.) ToTheArk, who also opposes Slendy and may or may not be in league with TiMasky.

Perhaps Masky and/or TTA know some secret about Slendy that threatens its existence, and so Slendy is using whichever of the other three he's got control of to try to find them.

I can definitely see how someone might think that TTA and Masky were the same person, especially in the beginning of the series. As the Entries progressed, though, I feel like the goals of these two characters and the way they have of carrying them out began to drastically diverge. TTA has always been the sort of person to communicate to Jay in codes and puzzles, and, while frustrated with Jay recently, has never been aggressive or violent towards him. At his worst, he's been a very creepy, cryptic guiding hand (Forecast). This sort of personality stands in direct contrast to what we've seen of Tim/Masky, who, while not directly violent towards Jay (compare their first meeting in Entry #18 and confrontation in Entry #33 with Tim's stabbing of Alex in Entry #35), has certainly been an aggressive and frightening figure from his very first appearance.

These two apparently divergent personalities fit in well with what also appear to be two different styles of totheark video responses/Marble Hornets hacked Entries. This difference becomes especially apparent around the time of Attention, Warning, Entry ###### and Entry #25, where you have very blunt, threatening statements being made to Jay 'We will wait for you no more. Control is being taken away from you. From the start, this has been a game for us. Not anymore. I'm coming for you', culminating in his apartment being set on fire. Not exactly actions one would think would come from TTA given his previous video responses (esp. Attention), which urged Jay (again with cryptic video footage) not to give up and to continue his investigation. Sort of a difficult thing to do when the place you live in is on fire.

EDIT: What was I even talking about here?

 		27 pages woop woop!

I got a new bracelet for you'all! While I was watching and re watching the entry I suddenly was very startled by something. When Jay and Alex are talking in the car while they are in front of Amy's and Jessica's house Jay pans around from left to right a lot. Not that it is significant but I noticed tehre was something hanging from the rear view mirror of Alex's car. Pauzed the video at 01:37 and I fell out of my chair..

This is what I saw:

It probably is nothing but for some reason that puppet scared the shit out of me! Razz That's all for now. Will be posting a scene to scene analyses soon after I'm done studying for my exams Razz

 		What if Alex knew what was going to happen when he entered the woods, Slendy appearing for his favorite plaything, so he took Jay to the house and mentioned Jessica as a way to give Jay a lead in case Alex was broken during playtime.

It seems to me that we've been getting ToTheArk replies relatively quickly lately. I guess we'll see if that holds true for this one.

 		Holy, holy, holy crap. Finally just got to watch the entry, and I was NOT prepared. I screamed at least three times. Nearly hyperventilated!! So scary~! I love this series so much.

Now I need to read twenty-something pages of discussion before I can contribute. But omg - Jessica! A real answer! Also - zombie Alex?? Why are you walking *toward* the nightmare monster? And lastly - Jay really is useless, isn't he.

Well through repetitive use of his plaything without allowing it to recharge its battery in a sense he wears it out and it eventually stops moving/twitching. eventually getting so mad over this that he Threw an Owl at some guys window earlier.
