It could be whatever third party was writing to Linnie to find EMH?

We've kinda abandoned that lead

That is curious, now that you mention it. Think HABIT has a timeshare in each of the boys' heads?

It's possible. But again, I am not convinced HABIT wrote that.

D'oh! I'd completely misread what you wrote, sorry. I'd love to hear more of your theory on this. Alt-universe Jeff loose in our New Jersey?

You know, I honestly don't know what I think. We've seen some stuff that suggests things like the USB or the hard drive or whatever were maybe left here from some point in the future, or from another universe. I'm just spitballing.

Then again, who sent the scrap of that note to Noah? HABIT, almost certainly. So maybe it is him who wrote it. But why? For what?

Rewatching the earlier videos. I actually forgot how fucking terrifying and surreal that first sighting of the Rake is. (And how happy they really were, before shit really started going down.)

I was also wondering about this. Maybe it's time to ask about 76 of 76? Wasn't the last one inquired about and suddenly it played, maybe that time is now for the final pieces of the puzzle to come together?

Perhaps "76of76.avi" will unlock when there is another un-accounted for amount of time. Or rather, when there is about to be another...? /speculation

I was never a fan, personally.

I thought it looked okay for what it was. It was just there to say: "Hey, look! Another supernatural antagonist!"

But it has to evolve as it becomes more active, such as attacking people and murdering innocent dogs. So obviously it has to change in how it looks for it to be terrifying and not ridiculous.

I meant the band, not the Rake. I love EMH Rake, I thought that took balls.

76 of 76 would be a normal file. it's the 76th file out of 76 total files. what makes 78 and 77 of 76 interesting is that they're the file number higher than the total number of files.

Right. Do you think there might be something significant on 76, though?

I had been thinking probably not, but then I realized that clip 76 would probably be the last thing the boys (intentionally) filmed on their "Day in the Life" trip to Bald Pate, possibly either the unedited footage of them kicking in the door or the aftermath of their little trip. There could very well be something of interest there.

For the life of me, I can't find what I swear I saw at one point. I am pretty sure that the guys said that there were three corrupted files on there, and I assumed they were 78, 77, and 76 when 78of76 was released.

Even if I am not remembering correctly, I can sure say that when watching them for the first time, I always thought 76/76 would come near the end and be exceedingly important. We're at the final trial (unless a rabbit remains, HABIT said it would go until there were none left, so it COULD go into sudden death so to speak), and there are seemingly 2 boxes remaining to be found still.

I say someone who has a good relationship with the guys at least give it a shot and see if it holds anything meaningful. What's the worst that could happen? Rolling Eyes

I might be able to do it tomorrow or later tonight. Kind of dealing with major shit right now plus work. Maybe Luipaard or Ouro?

Still, why not do it yourself?
