But they did that interview a looooong time before season 2 began. If they knew at that point in time that it would be a problem with shooting in HD, and they considered it a big enough deal to not shoot season 1 in HD, then why on Earth would they start shooting season 2 in HD in the first place?

We know that the MH team are extremely attentive to small details - see the Spongebob incident. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever in any way shape or form for them to let a detail like the Operator clearly having the outline of a face to appear in two separate videos unless it was very specifically on purpose, especially when it's an issue that they already knew existed, they'd had problems with in season one already, and which they considered problematic enough to prevent season 1 being filmed in HD.

For the appearance of facial features on the Operator at this point to not be a deliberate and calculated move on the part of the MH creators, they would have to work directly against a whole series of decisions they'd made about the presentation of the Operator in the past. I just don't see them doing that.


But you are talking about a Youtube series. One that was started on the cheap 2 years ago. The problems with filming in HD that they had likely weren't related JUST to showing off Slendy's features but also cost and control. Season 2 is partially funded by youtube ads and DVD sales, and not only that they are more experienced film makers now. The reasons why it's okay to shoot in HD don't have to have anything to do with wanting to purposefully show more detail on Slenderman, but shooting in HD DOES require that they update his look a bit to be more palatable for HD filming.

Not every damn thing needs to have story significance.

this

i believe they had the money to shoot in hd this season and they went with it because it overall looks better, even if slendys face shows a little. the spongebob edit was simple, slendys face is not because you have to go frame by frame and it'd take forever. i really don't think it's something to theorize about, but that's just my two cents. so for you still theorizing about his face, i pose this question again: why would he just start forming a face less than 3 weeks after being seen in entry 26? considering amy is the only one who went missing after 26, i find it hard to believe that she is the reason he's growing a face when he's abducted plenty of people before her.

 		now that we have the video distortion image imposing stuff sorted out, maybe someone can figure out the audio when alex falls down. something is defenitly said. i'm surprised nobody is doing it since there's always a handful of people with audacity and stuff messing around.

 		i personally think alex is willingly doing everything he's doing, even walking into him at the end.

the only other explanation is that he's a minion. i don't think this needs to be discussed much further without any solid concrete proof of what is going on, because everything at this point regarding alex is an assumption.

the most important thing right now is that sound byte that occurs when alex hits the ground and the pulsing fades for a second, you can very clearly hear a girl say something in a worried voice.

 		Off topic, but if I ever start a band, I'd like to name it Idiot Ball. Or, at least, one of the albums.

His intent was very specific, whatever it was. I keep having the image of him waiting in the parking lot, looking at his watch... Why? What happens at the time you're waiting for?
Maybe Slendy can only appear between 6 PM and 4 AM. Some people gotta work, after all.

Stalking and consuming children is a very demanding job. If you want see the Slender Boss, you gotta make an appointment. Obviously Alex was waiting for the correct time so he wouldn't arrive early when the Slender Boss wasn't expecting him.

 		Hey man, sometimes at 3AM you just gotta stare at fractals and SEE things. It makes the waiting more bearable. Very Happy

I can pop things in and out of paintshop all day, but with crappy laptop speakers and no audio software the sound stuff is usually beyond me. Usually I just take everyone's word for it -- "Hey, that's Beethoven's 5th!" Okay, then it is. That being said, I don't hear kids laughing/talking/whatever nor a "female voice" -- it's all just distortion to me. So I can't really participate in anything until stuff is cleaned up and posted as clips.

Do you know that I haven't even TOUCHED my WoW account in like... 3 days? That ... that's just... wrong. Shocked

I'm gonna go tool about the Outlands now. Very Happy Call me when something epic or relevant happens!

 		i also am lmfao at the people who think troy/joseph let an eagle loose for the intent of filming it circling around.. like really, do you people think they trained the eagle to just fly around there and not fly away or something? sometimes i wonder if some of you are infected with jay's lack of common sense disease
