Hey so I just started watching and the first few episodes seem kinda lame and....

(I kid, I kid, please don't kill me.)

Have we heard anything new from Noah since The Package?

Okay, so... I do believe this is my first time dropping by this thread.

I have some admissions to make.

I attempted watching TT about 6 months ago. I made it to "Night Recording" and then lost interest. Honestly, I was a bit more absorbed in MH and EMH at the time, so I didn't feel like getting involved in another major series. However, recent events (and frequent macros and gifs that I see floating around the forums) have persuaded me to give this series another shot. So, I began again (with a friend this time around). Rewatching the first videos was pretty much as I expected, and I admittedly approached them with more humor than actual enthusiasm. That is until "Unknown Caller." Tentacles. Need I say more. Since then, every single moment has been an "Oh man. Oh God. Oh man. Oh God." moment. I don't know how many times I've said, "oh shit!" in relation to this series. Though I doubt we've cursed as much as Noah has. XD

I regret not giving this a shot sooner and now realize why this is in "the big three." I am in love. That is all.

So I pretty much follow every single video series there is. Just saying.

I got into this recently as well. A lot of people say My Grandfather Karl is where the series picks up and stands on its own two feet, but it seems kind of weird to think of it that way for me since the video is just exposition without a lot of energy. I did like Night Recording, but I think the series solidifies its status around Box Analysis/Unkown Caller. Also, even though the Submissions are "blatant MH ripoffs" or whatever, I feel like some of them have a really good grasp of atmosphere (and some decent Slendy shots) even though the acting and MH references make them less than stellar as a whole.

That said, I still think there's some room for improvement and even after the Submissions there's an air of familiarity at times (account hijackings, memory loss, etc).

I think that the submissions were necessary though, for setting up the rest of the story

Honestly, in some ways I feel like Tribe Twelve as a whole, including the submissions, is easier to watch and get into for Slendy-newcomers compared to Marble Hornets. With MH, when I've tried to show the DVD to various circles of friends and family, I've had to explain multiple subtleties and plot points to them. With TT, I've sent simply a link to the channel to a few friends (some of whom I also watched MH with), and they've all watched through the videos and told me how much they enjoyed it.

In some ways, Tribe Twelve just feels more cinematic and engaging.

Agreed. If one of the big three had to make a feature length film I would definitely say that Tribe Twelve would do the best job. Not to say that EMH and MH are not great stories on thier own (I love the complexity the EMH brings to the table) but TT is just much easier to digest for a mainstream crowd.

I know it wouldn't make much sense from an IG perspective, but if Nimbus ever made a DVD of Tribe Twelve, I'd love to see the Submissions remade with some of the skills (acting, writing, and production) that he's seemed to have developed since the beginning.

I think it's also because Noah is much more of a realistic character. Not quite as nonchalant as the EMH dudes, but not as derp as Jay.

This is a bit OOG, but it was posted on the TribeTwelve Facebook page in regards to a convention meet up with Adam this weekend:

If you're going to the convention and you want to meet up with him or hang out, just follow his twitter, http://twitter.com/TheNimbusCore, which he will be updating with his location/time. See you there!

That would be brilliant.

"Fear has many eyes. "

Weird, he doesn't usually talk like that. Wonder if he had that dream again?

I seem to remember something he said early in the year about a bad dream and eyes and he made a drawing and uploaded it in a Twit pic.
