i meant close as in physically close to the camera. their slendy was ok but not as good as MH. TT still has the best slendy and i wish MH would have asked him to give them tips on how to get the tentacles and shit goin. noahs' got the editing skills but he's too full of procrastination and lack of a story for TT to be worth it anymore.

 		whenever i try to change the speed/pitch to make it slower it sort of just removes the noise altogether. i have really no experience in audacity so if someone else could figure it out, that'd be cool, cause i know something is there.

Mine? It's "t3h", a 1337-ized version of "teh", which is itself a common misspelling of "the" and my nickname from college, "Kender". I would prefer just "Kender", but a lot of forums have that name already taken, so I added t3h to make it my own.

Edit: I take it for granted, but for those who don't understand the reference, Kender are a race of creatures sort of like hyperactive kleptomaniac halflings/hobbits from the Dragonlance series of fantasy novels. They are also insatiably curious, which is most of what my nickname references.

Though looking at it now, I suppose one could read it as "Tech Ender", but I don't know what that would even mean.

I don't know if it's relevant -- but maybe the rain is shown to establish something about the Operator.

When Alex goes in to the woods to find Slendy, the rain has let up. Maybe the Operator really doesn't like water. If I'm not mistaken, this is the first time it's ever rained during the course of the series. (That we've been shown, at least.)

There's lots of water theories, maybe this helps underline them.

One of the TTA entries used footage of rain, I think the consensus was that it was Alex's footage, if I'm not mistaken.

Anyone want to fill me on on the general theories for this entry?

You keep missing this point though: why is it a big enough problem to prevent them recreating season 1 in HD, but not a big enough problem to prevent them shooting season 2 in HD? It has to be because they've found some way to justify it over the course of season 2 so that it stops being a problem.


because they've already shot most of season 2 in hd... to go down to 480p now would be sacrificing overall video quality for a few slendy face mishaps. if you want to believe your theory about slendy absorbing faces then go right ahead, but know that they said that filming in HD would show certain things like that, in the 5 part interview.

why has nobody tried to decode the audio when alex falls down... there's a girl's voice clear as day i just can't make out what she's saying

There's several sources where both creators pretty much confirm it. Here's the first I could find.

Nimbus would be the creator of TribeTwelve. Anyone who follows either series knows that they're doing this and they're both still running. I don't know where anyone would get the implication that they stopped.

 		Not gonna lie, I don't hear a girls voice at all in this entry... Not in the DL link that was posted earlier, not in the entry in total... The highpitched noise I'm hearing just sounds like a rhythmic distortion.

Edit, because multi-posting is classless: I also think that Alex was hypnotized at the end. Isn't part of the Slenderman spookiness that he entices people towards him?


Of course it's also possible that he's not hypnotized and instead realized that holy shit, he's RIGHT THERE.

 		My thought the whole EMH/TT crossover mentioned up there:

1) It was pretty obvious when you saw purple duct tape and mentions of Dr. C in the envelope that something EMH-related was going on.
2) Why on EARTH is TT crossing-over with EMH? As someone who, admittedly, jumped into this late last year, EMH has been overcomplicated and underwhelming in its presentation. It has had 4 different sites where game-related info was posted and its generally hard to follow even without that. TT has been, for the most part, clear and simple to follow(for a CreepyPasta vlog, at least).

ANYWAY..sry for the rant, I just don't get it. Maybe there was an easier way to follow EMH than I found, and if so can someone tell me so I can rewatch and, hopefully, actually get what's going on?

every forum i've ever been on allows multiposting, including this one. you're the one taking the time to call me out, i'm not forcing you to derail anything. i'm not going to stop multiposting because there's nothing wrong with it. you're literally complaining about having to scroll down two inches to read more post content.

messing around with the audio in audacity now: should have results within 20 minutes


Every forum I've ever been on--and I frequent quite a few--encourages users to use the edit button if they have multiple things to say within 24 hours and nobody else has responded.

Also, you've been rather rude the past few pages, and have derailed the thread to ask about other Slendermythos, which could go perfectly fine over in the Slenderman Mythos section.

In addition--and this isn't a dig at you in the slightest--I hear no voices in Entry 43, nor in your audio clip of it.

I second about the rudeness and off topic - can we please go back to discussing the actual entry?

This is the first time that it has rained in an entry (TTA vids notwithstanding) that I can remember - I definitely think there's some significance right there.

Considering it clearly showed Alex putting on the chestcam before he went into the forest, and he's the only character that wears shorts, I don't think the bracelet was needed in this scene.

However, the shorts and bracelet together could just be the defining image for Alex' if the early footage on the harddrive is from Alex's POV.

As for the water: I think it's some sort of symbolism, as opposed to a weakness/summoning.
