I can pop things in and out of paintshop all day, but with crappy laptop speakers and no audio software the sound stuff is usually beyond me. put headphones on. you should always do this for MH entries. not dinky little headphones, but ones with good bass. i've picked up on a lot of stuff i wouldn't have with good headphones. anyway yeah, in the video after alex hits the ground and starts twitching, after a few seconds slendys "pulsing" stops for a second and you can hear a voice and then it comes back on.


Listening with headphones at the point you mentioned,I can barely hear what sounds like a female voice and it kinda sounds like she's saying "Help me...."

 		Chances are, if you need to have good audio equipment, reverse engineer the audio file, develop your own audio editor, found a multi-billion dollar studio company to develop a new version of the software, have people working day and night decompiling the audio and can still only slightly hear what may sound like voices, there are probably no voices.

In previous situations, people have been able to easily reverse engineer the audio in order to bring it back to what it once was -- complicated things like orchestral pieces or dialogue from old films -- I think if you have to try too hard, and it's still faint -- then it was nothing to begin with. Just noise.

It's also entirely possible that whatever they use as the original operator distortion was some sort of recognizable sound at once point -- they have just filtered it beyond recognition at this point -- and that's okay, but that doesn't mean it needs to be decoded or that it means anything.

It was raining in entry 34 as well, and there was no sign of any distortion. Perhaps the rain did keep slendy at bay. Who knows

Perhaps he can't see people/places through the rain or water clouds his senses or something. Three of the first four TTA videos had something to do with water, and the footage Blasky filmed on Jay's camera also had to do with water. Hiding behind it, maybe?

Again, I realize this is very, very far-fetched.

 		So I was thinking that there's possession involved here. I haven't bothered to read all 50-something pages of this but I haven't seen the possibility brought up soo...
Possession would explain masky's behavior, as well as Alex's behavior just now and when he's leading Jay through the forest.
I think Slendy is possessing people and using their knowledge to track down others and possess them. Someone in the marble hornets cast has something that Slendy wants. Considering that Alex is possessed now, he's likely not the end goal for Slendy. Maybe Jay is the end goal, which would explain totheark stalking him before he's even heard of Slendy or been given Alex's tapes.
And no, I don't think it's teleportation, it's probably just cool tree cover.
Feel free to say how wrong I am if you really think that this is not possible.

Heh, not as far-fetched as this:

I kind of think the Operator was one of those criminals that was set on fire (not too out there yet), and that the little girl who went missing went into the woods to put the fire out (somewhat out there). This left Slendy in a facelss, half-alive, half-dead state of pain and rage, at which point he gets possessed by a demon/eldritch abomination. So now, the Operator likes both fire and water, as both brought him into being.

Of course, this is all completely impossible to confirm, even if we're given amazing Entries or TTA videos. Also, inb4 possession within a possession Inception jokes.

Which makes sense for TTA to use it in his videos if he's working against the Operator (and I think he is).

 		Wow... 50 pages and I'm assuming it'll just keep going. I've read up to page 33, but I think it's time to post my theories / speculations / what-have-you.

I think this entry is by far the best one (at least for Season 2).

Despite Alex's mumbling I do believe he says "Her roommate" when Jay asks who he is calling. This establishes that Jessica and Amy live together. But, this doesn't confirm that Jay has ever met Jessica, so when she says that she thinks Jay's name sounds familiar (Entry 28) it still leaves me wondering how she knows his name? Maybe Alex has talked about Jay to Jessica? Perhaps Jessica has been stalking Jay (If Jessica = TTA, but then gets her memory wiped? Then after she leaves the hotel, she regains her memory and continues posting TTA videos? Will have more on this later maybe.. I've been working on a Jessica = TTA theory in my head for a while now despite the popular belief of Brian being TTA) and that's how she knows him? Or maybe, they did meet before... but then why would Jay ask so many questions about the house if he's been there before to meet Amy and Jessica?

I read somewhere in this thread someone believes Jessica has been slendynapped and this is why Alex can't get a hold of her? I'm just wondering if anyone's been able to accurately place a timeline of when these videos (since it appears to be containing footage from both Jay's and Alex's cameras) were taken? I'm inclined to think it was shot after Entry 42, but then if Jessica was slendynapped how did she end up in the hotel? Or maybe both Jay and Jessica were slendynapped and then taken to the hotel? But why put them in the hotel?

As for the whole Alex being under The Operator's control, I think the jury is out on that one. The way he slowly walks towards The Operator can be interpreted either way, and so I'm not inclined to say for sure that Alex is "evil" a "minion" or whatever. I'm leaning more towards Alex being stupid/brave to approach Mr. Tall and Faceless at this stage.

And for the blackouts that Jay and Alex and Jessica have been experiencing. Maybe when you are in close contact with The Operator it wipes your memory just as it seems to wipe data (thus distortions and black-outs in the film) from cameras. So, all those people out there saying that Alex and Jay are Slendydolls and thus the blanks in memories, I propose the aforementioned theory - Slenderman just fucks with your head. :P

MMmm.. I think I'm forgetting something, but yeah. Should I grab a fireblanket? :oops:
