Honestly, it's all about the unsubstantiated rumor. I don't see how this is connected to Halo in any way. Even if you were to link the test subject element to the SPARTAN project, there are a number of holes:

The SPARTAN project was meant to design human killing machines, while the Human Preservation Project is, as far as we know, meant to examine the intricacies of the human senses. As far as preservation goes, while SPARTANs were meant to protect humanity, they were still an instrument of war and destruction - pretty fatal indeed. Anyway, SPARTANs weren't really recruited, they were just kind of taken. So an advert on the chatter (or whatevs) isn't really canon.

ILB had some pretty clear connections to the Halo universe fairly early on. I suppose since our countdown hasn't even hit zero yet, we may be jumping the gun in discounting anything. However, I simply do not see any connection between MIF and ILB/Halo, excepting the timing and the wasp.

 		Well that's quaint.

As soon as that article was published I posted a comment that it's not Halo related and linked to UF for the discussion. Seems the comment wasn't approved by their moderation... as if they're looking for Halo-related hype traffic perhaps instead of counter-comments?

Comments here are right - there is no connection to Halo, only a few thematically similar elements to ilovebees, depending on your interpretation. That's it, really.

 		No kidding, what a pain in the ass. I thought it was kinda funny that there was only one comment, for an article that would have gotten a ton of attention across the ARG community. :P

 		yeah, I doubt 343 Industries would resort to an ARG like this when all they need is the trailer at E3.

The things that don't make sense to me is "HUMAN PRESERVATION PROJECT" I do not see how this in particular is related to any ads with 5 gum. If someone can make a connection please let me in on it.

annnnd.. just mentioning the lost experience, by saying that ads can be cross marketed.

So 5 gum loves ARG's right? Who better to ask to be part of another viral marketing project?


I don't know what its related to, I am just hoping here..just crossing fingers toes etc... *there are other games*

 		I think it's for gum at this point, but I too keep clinging to hope it's for Halo.

Halo 4 is too far off though so I think if it has anything to do with Halo it will be for the remastered Halo CE. I saw in the trailhead someone mentioned something on the icefly a few days ago that said reboot, rebirth. That would certainly describe Halo CE.
