No, this sounds like HABIT to me for some reason. IDK. I don't know that I believe the EMH continuity is crawling with proxies a la the blogs. I think any mob of people - like the possible event at the diner - might be a very rare occurance.

Really glad I ate dinner early and woke up needing a snack.

I'm with CoA; I read the smiling man as HABIT, and it sounds to me like HABIT doesn't just do mind control but also functions as a sort of animating spirit. I wonder if he could continue using a body until it falls apart?

Yeah, like I said...there really isn't anything to hint to that theory in there...but I think it still persists for me.

I don't know. It's still tough to take Habit at what he's implying. And it just doesn't feel right for a narrative for him to be helping Slendy get victims.

The only way it seems to work out if it's a mutally benefits thing. HABIT gets to slice and dice and murder and Slendy gets the kid. That works for the past, but what does Slendy get out of the current deal?

edit: I mention the Slendy proxies because I haven't been able to discount the Slenderman and WTTA videos as completely OOG.

I think he's trying to harvest more souls in the trials. I really don't know. I still think lunaticfish's cycle theory has some basis in truth.

I just realized: Remember how Jessa was walking around well after her disappearance in the Magus video? Do you think she might have been a HABIT zombie? Brr.

Could be.

That video is just so fishy to me. I don't understand why Slendy felt the need to lure/taunt Jeff like that. I don't know. It's probably a case of Slendy Trolling..but still.

It's sorta of funny/telling how both Jeff and Alex have been tried to be tempted into that shed in basically the same way.

And we've never asked either time what's in that shed.

If anything is. Actually, Slendy was on top of it at the time so he probably just wanted them in the general vicinity, not necessarily inside.

Still. Luring Jeff with a probably Dead Jessa and Luring Alex with a totally Dead Sparky to the same general vicinity is sorta creepy.

And by sorta, I mean a lot creepy.

Agreed that Slendy's motivations are, at this point, impenetrable. I'm partial to the theory that he feeds on pain and sorrow[1], and that the Prophecy Boys make mighty fine dining.

qaqa, you're right, we haven't asked about the shed. Maybe there's something in there that would be enlightening.

[1] Garmonbozia, natch.

Well, running with the "taunting with Dead things" theme, can we consider Vince's cat in the same cat(lol)egory?

Getting a weird phone call about the cat, checking on the grave, disturbed disturbingly, SLENDY.

Kinda sorta runs the same way.

If anything, maybe our joking theory of Jessa being in the shed isn't too far from the truth?

Has Evan been taunted?(besides being Rake'd Slendy'd and what not)

Possibilities:

There's some kind of a door/hatch in there, and it sure as hell ain't going into Narnia.

Some loose boards that can be pulled up and allow access under the shed and reveal Jessa's clothes, and possibly something else in there to help cement that it was her down there at one time or another.

They find Jeff's torture dungeon.

Stop stealing my schtick. That being said, I do agree.

I'm not sure I believe the shed is anything but a convenient trap point, given Slendy was standing above it. But it's a thought.

3 things:

1.:

My Daddy got his head cut off by HABIT

IT'S OK NOW, HE'S JUT SLEEPING!!

2.: The shed is the Black Lodge (seriously, why not? There are parallels...)

3.: If - and that's a big if - Jessa would make an appearance again jaws will hit the floor and applause will be made.

I definitely agree that there is something unsettling about that shed and Jessa/Sparky showing up there, but I am still unsure as to which roles Corenthal and HABIT play.

I think the holes with blood reference from CYSTW's newest post is related to the drawn pic in Slayerboy's last vid. HABIT's corporeal form possibly?

Any consensus on whos is our unreliable narrator? Few possibilities:
FRA - definitely lied, would have required some serious forethought from EMH, not very likely
HABIT - takes credit for actions we do not believe possible, not sure what to make of that
Vince - the voyeur with his hidden agenda
All of EMH - their original deception of the fitness videos schtick
Still unsure of what to do based on those conclusions but I feel like this is the pertinent piece of the puzzle currently

Why would HABIT clue us in that he's unreliable?
